Ottawa Senators at Boston Bruins

The Ottawa Senators (6-7-0) and Boston Bruins (7-7-1) meet at TD Garden in a key Atlantic Division battle on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed or streamed on the NHL Network.

Linus Ullmark (2-4-0, 3.02 GAA, .892 SV%), the former Bruins netminder, is expected to get the starting nod against his former team. For the B’s, the other half of last season’s goalie tandem, Jeremy Swayman (4-5-1, 3.14 GAA, .894 SV%, one shutout), is expected to get the nod.

Ullmark has had a tough time since flipping the calendar from October to November. He lost both of his starts while allowing seven goals on 52 shots for a .865 SV% and 3.54 GAA. He allowed five goals on 34 shots in a loss in Buffalo on Tuesday.

For the Bruins, Swayman was on the short end of a 4-0 loss in Toronto on Tuesday in his most recent outing, kicking aside 23 out of 26 shots. He has won just twice in his past eight outings, going 2-5-1.

In this series, Boston has won four of the past five meetings, although Ottawa did win 3-1 as a heavy underdog (+195) in the most recent meeting on April 16 last season. The under is 5-1 in the past six outings while going 8-2 across the past 10 in the series.

We’ll side with the Bruins on the Moneyline and cautiously play the Under based on the series trends, although there certainly is concern with the way both Ullmark and Swayman have been going.

While suggesting the under, you obviously won’t want to cheer for many goals. But we’re going with an anytime goal scorer prop, as it’s too hard to pass up. Brad Marchand has three goals and five points in his past five games. Including his prop can help you multiply by nearly nine times.

Parlay Odds: +877

New Jersey Devils at New York Islanders

The New Jersey Devils (9-5-2) will take the short bus ride to UBS Arena to meet the New York Islanders (6-6-2). The puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed or streamed on ESPN+.

These teams just met on Oct. 25 in Newark, with the Islanders scratching out a 4-3 victory in overtime as short underdogs (+103) as the over (6) connected. Bo Horvat notched the game-winning goal in overtime, with helpers to Mathew Barzal and Ryan Pulock. It also helped Ilya Sorokin to a victory, rewarding him after he made 33 saves on 36 shots.

The Devils were using Jake Allen that evening. He allowed four goals on 30 shots. Jacob Markstrom (6-4-1, 2.65 GAA, .904 SV%, one shutout) is projected to get the start. Sorokin (4-3-1, 2.35 GAA, .921 SV%) is expected to go for the Isles again.

The Islanders hold a slight 6-4 edge in the past 10 meetings, with the over holding a slight 4-2-1 edge in the past seven in the series. On Long Island, the Devils have won the past two skates and three of the previous four visits. The under is 3-1-1 in the past five battles at UBS Arena.

We’ll side with the Devils to get the job done on the Moneyline. As you can probably surmise, we’ll be going low, especially with Markstrom in the cage instead of Allen.

For our player prop, Jesper Bratt is a strong anytime goalscorer option. He has four goals and 12 points in the past nine games, including five power-play points.

Parlay Odds: +826
