NHL Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Saturday (3/1)
The National Hockey League (NHL) season rolls on, and it’s a special day on the ice. My Ice Aged team faces the Raleigh Puckaneers tonight at the Iceplex at 9:15 p.m. ET. Plenty of tickets are still available. Oh, yeah, and the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets are playing in an NHL Stadium Series game at Ohio Stadium in front of 90,000 fans or something. Really, they’re both super important games.
We have a total of 13 games on the schedule, and four of those games have a puck drop of 3 p.m. ET or earlier. We won’t focus on any of the afternoon affairs, giving you time to submit your plays without rushing. The Wings and Jackets drop the puck at Ohio State’s football field at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN+, and we have eight games with a start of 7 p.m. ET or later, so there is plenty to choose from.
We feature solid NHL same-game parlays (SGPs) for tonight’s matchups below. Perhaps you can mix and match with some NBA contests or games from yet another full weekend of college hoops.
These parlays come with +400 odds or higher. Let’s get started.

Detroit Red Wings at Columbus Blue Jackets
- Leg 1: Blue Jackets Moneyline (-110)
- Leg 2: Over 6.5 Goals (+100)
- Leg 3: Adam Fantilli Anytime Goal Scorer (+200)
You know we have to highlight the outdoor game. I mean, come on. The Blue Jackets (29-22-8) just dusted the Red Wings (30-23-6) by a 5-2 score at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Thursday in the undercard of this home-and-home set, halting a four-game losing streak in the series in the process. That was behind Daniil Tarasov for the visitors, so top goaltender Elvis Merzlikins is rested and ready for Saturday’s outdoor tilt.
It wasn’t all bad for the Red Wings last time out, as Alex DeBrincat got the fans out of their seats with an even-strength goal to open the scoring just 27 seconds into the second after a scoreless first period. However, the second period belonged to James van Riemsdyk, as he leveled the scoring at 4:16, and he scored the fourth goal for the Blue Jackets at 15:01 of a wild second period. J.T. Compher tried to pull the Red Wings closer with a power play goal before the horn sounded, closing it to 4-2, but an ENG in the third by Kirill Marchenko was the only scoring for the visitors.
So, can the Blue Jackets win one of the biggest regular-season games in franchise history? It isn’t often that Columbus is the talk of the NHL world, at least for good reasons. We all know the sad news that thrust the Blue Jackets organization to the forefront in the offseason.
The Red Wings, win or lose, had been very competitive before that 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. Since Jan. 21, Detroit is 9-2-2 in 13 games, while six of the past nine outings have been decided by a single goal.
The Blue Jackets steam in on a three-game heater since the 4 Nations Face-off Tournament break, averaging 5.3 goals per game (GPG) while allowing 2.3 GPG in the span. Toss in the fact that outdoor games have hit the Over in the past three events while going 4-1 in the past five, and that’s our lean for Saturday night.
As far as the side, we’ll play it safe and back the Blue Jackets. As far as the player prop, let’s roll with Adam Fantilli as an Anytime Goal Scorer. He has goals in two of the past three games while collecting two goals and four points in a three-game span and posting a plus-4 rating. He has exactly three shots on goal (SOG) in each of the three games of his point streak, so he is eager to keep the offense going.

New Jersey Devils at Utah Hockey Club
- Leg 1: Devils Moneyline (-102)
- Leg 2: Under 5.5 Goals (-102)
- Leg 3: Jesper Bratt 1+ Points (-200)
The Devils (32-22-6) and Utah Hockey Club (27-24-9) meet at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, with puck drop scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.
While the anticipation for this game might not be the same as the outdoor contest, this is a very ‘bettable’ game for several reasons. New Jersey enters this one 17-12-2 on the road, one of the better teams away from home in the Metropolitan Division. Additionally, the Devils blanked the Utah Hockey Club on Oct. 14 in the first meeting in Newark as moderate favorites (-140) as the Under (6.5) cashed.
New Jersey is going to be steamed after suffering a 5-1 loss in a marquee game at Colorado on Wednesday. The Devils do have a pair of shutout victories in the past four games, both on the road against subpar teams Nashville and Montreal, and they blanked the UHC earlier this season, too.
Utah has actually been hot since the break, too. It stumbled in Los Angeles with a 5-3 loss right out of the rest, but Utah has won three in a row by a combined 10-3 margin. That includes an impressive 6-1 win over the Minnesota Wild behind Karel Vejmelka.
We’ll still side with the Devils on the moneyline here, as they’re actually underdogs, and that’s a crazy good value. We’ll side with the Under, too, as Vejmelka and Jake Allen are projected to start, and that’s not a bad duo at both ends.
For our player prop, to get us over that +400 threshold, let’s keep it simple, and roll with Jesper Bratt to get at least one point. He is on an extended hot streak, going for two goals and 16 points in the past 11 games, including five points on the man advantage.
Parlay Odds: +410
