Winnipeg Jets at Dallas Stars
- Leg 1: Jets Moneyline (+105)
- Leg 2: Jake Oettinger Under 24.5 Saves (-120)
- Leg 3: Jets Team Total Over 2.5 Goals (-145)
This matchup has a lot of implications because if the Stars can get a regulation win, they will be within two points of the Jets for the top seed in the Western Conference with three games remaining. The Stars are surging up the standings, having recorded the second-most points since February 28th (30).
Two things have been anchoring this team. The newly formed offense has been great in that span, scoring 3.75 goals per game (second). They also have three players with 20+ points in that span, including Roope Hintz, who has the third-most assists (21), and Jason Robertson, who has 10 goals.
The goaltending has been fantastic recently. Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith have had the net on lock, allowing 2.40 goals per game in the last 10 games, which looks even better when you realize the blueline allows a league-worst 36.2 shots per game in that same span.
Most thought the Jets would cruise to the No. 1 seed in the West, but they have been losing more frequently and have been upset a couple of times, including against Utah and Buffalo.
If Winnipeg wants to bring the hammer down on this conference, a win tonight would do it. That could especially be true for Connor Hellebuyck's chances at the Hart Trophy. He's only a slight favorite at most sportsbooks for the award. It's rare for a goalie to win the award, so he would need a definitive win to seal it.
Winnipeg's 53.18% expected goal share should concern the Stars’ struggling blueline. If the Jets continually get quality shots, it will be tough for Oettinger to stop this offense.

Vancouver Canucks at Colorado Avalanche
- Leg 1: Canucks Moneyline (+160)
- Leg 2: Cale Makar 3+ Shots on Goal (-155)
- Leg 3: Avalanche Team Total Under 3.5 Goals (-150)
The Avalanche are getting hot at the right time, as their 28 points in March are the second-most. It's all because of their potent offense, which is scoring 3.72 goals per game (first).
There is just too much talent on those lines. Their two 30-goal scorers carry this team. Nathan MacKinnon (32), who is in contention for his second-straight Hart Trophy, leads the league with 116 points. Cale Makar (30) became just the ninth defenseman in league history to score 30 goals. Unfortunately, MacKinnon will miss this game with an undisclosed injury; Colorado just hopes he'll be ready for the playoffs.
The Canucks were in contention for a Wild Card spot, but the Blues going on that 12-game winning streak took everyone else out, and Vancouver will miss the postseason. One of their problems all season was goaltending. They couldn't get a fitting replacement for Thatcher Demko, who missed a majority of the season.
Demko has allowed 3.33 goals per game in the last three games. He did record a shutout in his recent matchup against the Avs, and he allowed only one goal in his other start against Colorado this season. With no MacKinnon, it wouldn't be surprising to see Vancouver pull off another upset.
