Today’s Best NHL Same Game Parlay Picks

Minnesota Wild vs. Washington Capitals

  • Leg 1: Wild ML (-110)
  • Leg 2: UNDER 6.5 Total Goals (-140)
  • Leg 3: Alex Ovechkin Anytime Goal (+105)

The Wild are not a strong offensive team this season, but they’ve really been slumping, scoring just eight goals in their last four games.

One person who might come in with some life is Matt Boldy. The Minnesota forward has 49 million reasons to be happy after he inked a new deal.

The Wild have not needed lots of offense this season. Filip Gustavsson should be behind the net Tuesday and he has been incredible this year, having now moved up from being Marc-Andre Fleury’s backup to playing every other game.

The problem with Washington this season has been the injuries. They’ve had to deal with a depleted roster for most of the year while the ageless Alex Ovechkin had to be the offense.

Tom Wilson and Nicklas Backstrom have returned recently, but they’ve each started slow, with just an assist between them in three games.

The Caps are coming in with a rest disadvantage and had to play overtime last night. This is an excellent opportunity for the Wild to steal one in a close defensive matchup.

Seattle Kraken vs. Edmonton Oilers

  • Leg 1: Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goal (+115)
  • Leg 2: OVER 7.5 Total Goals (+180)
  • Leg 3: OVER 3.5 Edmonton Oilers Total Goals (+105)

Don’t look now, but the Kraken are moving up in the standings. Their eight-game winning streak was snapped last night, but their offense has been incredible by averaging 4.4 goals over their last ten games.

When you talk about the Oilers, you need to mention the outstanding season of Connor McDavid. Currently sitting with 83 points, and that’s 15 ahead of the next person, who happens to be his teammate Leon Draisaitl.

Lately, they’ve been better than usual on the defensive side by allowing just five goals during their three-game winning streak. It’s not a great sample because two of them were against the Ducks, who are last in points scored, and the Sharks who are 22nd.

In the short history of this matchup, each game has hit the over, and I expect it to again with two top-four offenses.

Parlay Odds: +1004

Buffalo Sabres vs. Chicago Blackhawks

  • Leg 1: Sabres -1.5 (+135)
  • Leg 2: Tage Thompson Anytime Goal (-110)
  • Leg 3: OVER 0.5 Sabres First Period Total Goals (-240)

The Sabres have been among the more surprising teams in the league as they may end their years of mediocrity with a playoff appearance. It’s all due to Tage Thompson and this exceptional forward unit as the league’s second-best offense.

It was the best until their recent struggles. They’ve dropped five of their last six and averaged two goals per game in that time.

They have a chance to rebound tonight against Chicago. There isn’t much positivity from this Blackhawks team – they’re bad both offensively and defensively, whether at full strength or on special teams.

This opponent comes at the right time because Buffalo needs to regain offensive momentum. They can push around and move the puck against the Blackhawks likely scoring quickly and often.

Parlay Odds: +536
