Pennsylvania Welcomes DraftKings Sportsbook With Mobile App (Sports Betting)

Just months after neighboring West Virginia, as well as Indiana, began allowing DraftKings to operate in their state, Pennsylvania has become the seventh state to join in on the action that DrafKings Sportsbook is poised to deliver. The top-rated mobile and online sportsbook experience, Pennsylvanians can now join in on the fun from any device with an internet connection. The timing, which could not be better for avid sports bettors, falls right in the middle of the college and NFL football seasons and just as the NBA and NHL are starting to ramp up. The DraftKings Sportsbook app offers in-game betting, odds boosts, futures, and plenty of props for all of the major sports. While Indiana and West Virginia have plenty of sports bettors, Pennsylvania, given its size and propensity for sports, is a true landmark moment for the folks at DraftKings.

“We have seen immense success over the last year with our Sportsbook product and are thrilled for this pivotal next step as DraftKings expands into Pennsylvania,” said Jason Robins, co-founder, and chief executive officer at DraftKings. “Pennsylvania is home to two of the biggest sports cities in the world and multiple big-time college programs, with some of the most die-hard fan bases of all-time. We could not be more excited to introduce those fans to our top-rated mobile sportsbook and provide them with the unrivaled experience that has become synonymous with DraftKings.”

As of today, Pennsylvania sports bettors can place their bets on the app via iOS and Android, as well as online.

Did Someone Say Pittsburgh?

Outside of Las Vegas, there are few more notable hotbeds for sports betting than Pittsburgh. As DraftKings makes their debut this week, let’s see what the Steelers are facing in a pivotal Week 10 home game on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams (-3.5, 44 O/U) at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 PM EST (DraftKings)
A game that was expected to look quite different at the start of the season will kick off Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh when the 5-3 Rams take on the 4-4 Steelers. Following the loss of starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers stumbled to a 1-4 start before rattling off three straight wins and now find themselves just outside a Wild Cart spot. For the Rams, a 3-0 start was followed by three straight losses before bouncing back with two mediocre wins against the Bengals and Falcons.
