Post-Draft NFL Super Bowl Odds: BettingPros Staff Picks (2022)
The dust has settled on the 2022 NFL Draft, and sportsbooks have begun the process of updating their NFL odds based on the results. This ended up being one of the more memorable NFL Drafts in recent history, with several trades shaking up NFL rosters and just one quarterback (Pitt’s Kenny Pickett) being selected in the first round. So, what do the current Super Bowl Odds look like now that the NFL Draft is over?
Our very own Matthew Freedman, Pat Fitzmaurice, Andrew Erickson, and Derek Brown took an early look at the lines and made their picks based on what we currently know about each team.

Kansas City Chiefs
Over the last four seasons, the Chiefs have made it to every AFC Championship Game and two Super Bowls, winning one. They’ve won at least 12 regular-season games in four consecutive seasons and have averaged 11.4 regular-season wins during head coach Andy Reid’s nine-year reign. The Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes, they’ve adequately addressed the WR position after the Tyreek Hill trade, and they just had a terrific draft. The AFC West has become a tougher division, but Kansas City is still the class of it.

Los Angeles Chargers
I’m all-in on the Los Angeles Chargers.
An elite defense paired with an offense heralded by MVP candidate Justin Herbert has me convinced they can run the table not just in the AFC West, but in the entire conference.
Whichever team emerges from the AFC West will be battle-tested, and one that should be able to make a Super Bowl Run. In the words of fearless leader Matthew Freedman, “The Chargers are one offensive lineman (Zion Johnson) one decent linebacker (Kenneth Murray), and one third-year quarterback leap from a Super Bowl.â€

The Chargers are poised to make a deep playoff run. Adding Khalil Mack and J.C. Jackson will fortify a defense ranked 26th in DVOA last year (per Football Outsiders). These were the final building blocks to put this team over the top because the offense will have no issues lighting up the scoreboard. Locking up Mike Williams and padding the running back room with Isaiah Spiller were masterstrokes for an offense that was sixth in yards per play and fifth in total points scored last season. While the AFC West is a gauntlet, Brandon Staley’s squad is equipped to face the test head-on.

Post-Draft Super Bowl Odds: +1600
Green Bay Packers
The Packers have won 13 games in each of the past three seasons, and despite the Davante Adams trade they actually might have improved via the draft. Linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt will strengthen the interior of the defense. Edge rusher Kingsley Enagbare went two rounds later than he should’ve. Wide receivers Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Samori Toure all have significant upside relative to where they were selected. Offensive linemen Sean Rhyan, Zach Tom and Rasheed Walker all have tackle/guard flexibility, and Walker could have been taken on Day 2. The Packers play in an easy division and the easier conference. Their path to the No. 1 seed and Super Bowl is relatively unabated.
