Premier League Matchday 11 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

About one-quarter of the way through the 2022-23 EPL season, the top and bottom positions on the table are beginning to take shape as teams are battling it out in England. With 24 points and an 8-0-1 record at the top, Arsenal holds a one-point lead over Manchester City, who are right behind them and have not yet dropped a match.

Let’s look at a couple of the matches I’m keyed in on this weekend across the pond.

English Premier League Matchday 11 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Saturday Game

Leicester (+135) vs. Crystal Palace (+200)

Frankly, I don’t think Leicester should be the favorites versus Crystal Palace considering they lost to Bournemouth and are now back at the bottom of the Premier League standings with just four points through nine games.

It is safe to assume that the Foxes’ margin for error is getting smaller and smaller, so the victory over Forest was a temporary blip two weeks ago. I anticipate that Brendan Rodgers’ mounting pressure at leadership will show in this game, and for Leicester to fold accordingly.

Even if Palace doesn’t exactly grab headlines with their play, Leicester is a weak opponent that they can easily dominate in this one on the road.  In particular, I think Wilfried Zaha has some success up top and sets the tone for a resounding victory as Palace scores twice in a row and picks up three points in the underdog role here.

Pick: Crystal Palace (+200)

Tottenham (-210) vs. Everton (+600)

It may be oversimplifying to say that this is just a matter of how many goals you anticipate the Spurs to score, but I do believe they call their score in this one. In my opinion, Tottenham is simply in a different league despite the decent play from Everton as of late.

We might anticipate a few goals in this encounter from both sides as the favorite comes in with worn-out legs after beating Frankfurt by three goals in the Champions League midweek. Even yet, they have only lost once this season, and I don’t anticipate them to lose again here, especially against an Everton team that was just exposed by Manchester United at home.

Led by the #2 goal scorer in La Liga in Harry Kane, I think the Hotspurs roll early in this one.

Pick: Tottenham 1H (+115)
