From an individual player standpoint this season in the English Premier League, Erling Haaland has been the storyline, leading the way with 17 goals per season. His Manchester City club sits #2 on the table with 29 points, trailing only Arsenal who has 31 points with a record of 10-1-1.
Things in the middle of the table are where the play has been most interesting, as a log jam of teams jockey for positioning. Let’s take a closer look at four teams in action on Sunday where I think some value remains at this key point in the 2022-23 campaign.

West Ham vs. Crystal Palace
Before Crystal Palace visits London this weekend, the home West Ham will be looking to get their legs back following a Thursday trip to Romania to take on FCSB (3-0 win).
Although it has been almost three years since Palace last defeated West Ham, they have earned a point in each of their last two visits to the Irons’ stadium and come into this match having won two of their past three. With ten points from their previous four games, Palace’s value appears to be excessively low given how well they are currently performing.
They’re also facing a West Ham team that has dropped two of their past three and is currently plummeting down the table. Led by striker Wilfried Zaha who comes into this game with five goals and 11 points on the season, I like for Palace to win this one on the road.
At a minimum, I have this one closer to even on paper than the odds currently suggest, and will gladly take this value at more than 3/1.
