Premier League Matchday 15 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Only this week remains between now and winter break across Europe, as this weekend’s game mark the last week of action until the day after Christmas. With a full slate of games on Saturday and Sunday this week, let’s take a closer look at a few games I’m keyed in on that has some remaining value.

English Premier League Matchday 15 Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Brighton (-125) vs. Aston Villa (+320)

It’s been a terrific start to the season for Brighton, who had a down year last season and comes into this week sitting No. 6 on the table and having won their past two straight. Their first of those two was amongst their best results of the season, beating Chelsea 4-1 to draw within a game of them heading into the following week. Beating Wolverhampton that following week, Brighton now sits tied with Chelsea and just one game behind Manchester United for the coveted top five on the table.

As for Aston Villa, things haven’t gone as well to start this campaign, but they do come into this match with some momentum, having won two of their past three for the first time since the start of the season. Both of those wins came against teams ahead of them in the table, and I like the style of football they’ve put on the pitch as of late.

In a game I have as even on paper, I like the value Aston Villa currently provides at this price.

Pick: Aston Villa (+320)

Fulham (+300) vs. Manchester United (-115)

Two teams coming into this one following a loss will square off at Fulham this week, as Manchester United comes to town following their fourth loss of the season. The loss, which was their first in over a month, came at the hands of the red-hot Aston Villa back on Nov. 6.

As for Fulham, their loss was also respectable, a 2-1 defeat on the road at Manchester City, who currently sits No. 2 on the table with 32 points. Unlike in years past, Man U doesn’t come into this campaign with any certified stars, as Marcus Rashford has led the way for them with 13 points (four goals) on the season.

Christian Eriksen has emerged as one of their best facilitators, and I like for him to be the difference in this one against an outgunned Fulham side.

Pick: Manchester United (-115)
