Rangers vs. Golden Knights NHL Odds, Picks & Predictions (Wednesday)
The NHL is back in action tonight, and we have an intriguing seven-game slate ahead of us, with the Flames hosting the Wild, the Bruins squaring off against the Avalanche, and the Rangers taking on the red-hot Golden Knights in Vegas. Let’s dive into my top three bets on the ice tonight. And here’s a closer look at Rangers vs. Golden Knights.

NHL Odds, Picks & Predictions for Wednesday: Rangers vs. Golden Knights
The mojo from the Rangers’ deep playoff run last season just hasn’t carried over to the new campaign, as they’re currently 12-10-5 and fifth in the Metropolitan Division. On the other hand, Vegas couldn’t be happier with its position atop the Pacific Division and 19-7-1 start. The puck drop is set for 10:00 p.m. ET tonight from Sin City.
Vegas is a very well-rounded team this year, and they currently rank inside the top 10 on both offense and defense. They’re averaging 3.4 goals per game (8th) while giving up just 2.56 (6th). Their +21 goal differential is fourth-best in the league. Nothing specific pops out about the Golden Knights. They’re just playing great, fundamental team hockey under Bruce Cassidy. And if you think about his time in Boston, that’s typically how his teams always were. They’d play tough, structured hockey and seemingly always be in the top five defensively. That style of play has clearly carried over to Vegas as Cassidy’s off to a solid start in his first year with the organization.
With that being said, I’ll lock in the Golden Knights on the moneyline tonight. They’re way more consistent than the Rangers right now and should be able to collect the two points at home.
