NFL Week 18 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Ravens vs. Bengals

The Bears have already announced they’ll be resting Justin Fields in this matchup with Minnesota. Minnesota doesn’t have an opportunity at the one seed so it is possible they rest some key starters as well.

The last few weeks have not been kind to either of these teams defensively. Chicago is the worst team defensively in the league by most metrics and the Vikings are in the bottom third in many, including DVOA.

Even with star players like Fields out I can see this game going over. The Vikings, who have struggled to run the ball all year, should have no issue against this Bear’s defensive front. Additionally Justin Jefferson will look to finish with the league lead in receiving yards, so even if they don’t play all game, look for the Vikings to score often as long as they’re in.

With a low total in a January game in Chicago, I trust these defenses to not get the job done, and produce an over.
