Jalen Green recorded eight rebounds in his first game against the Warriors. However, in Game 2, he finished with just four rebounds. That’s more like it. Green has added at least five rebounds in just 45% of games this season. He’s also managed to grab at least five rebounds in just 25% of his last 16 games against the Warriors. In addition, he’s added at least five rebounds in just two of his last ten games. The Warriors currently rank 9th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to shooting guards.
Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet has earned no more than three assists in three of his last four games. He managed seven in Game 1 of this series but fell back to life in Game 2, adding only two assists. He’s facing a Warriors defense that ranks 6th in the NBA in assists allowed to point guards and has struggled to reach his prop in three of his last four. We’ll grab his under.
Lastly, Draymond Green didn’t add a single assist in Game 2. He’s earned at least five assists in just two of his last five games, but neither of those games was against Houston in the playoffs. He’s added just three assists in 66.5 minutes against the Rockets in the playoffs. That’s because the Rockets rank fourth in the NBA in assists allowed to power forwards.
