Here’s how to take advantage of this weekend’s deal.

  1. Sign up or log in to your account at DraftKings Sportsbook.
  2. Pick the game you’re most confident that a specific team will win — you’ll only get one Odds Boost! Games between July 30th and August 1st are eligible.
  3. Head to the landing page and click “BOOST THIS GAME.”
  4. You’ll receive a single-use Odds Boost to increase the moneyline odds to +500 for that game.
  5. Put up to $20 on the line for an individual bet.

Best Bets to Win This Weekend

Phoenix Suns (-305) at Washington Wizards
Friday, July 31st at 4:00 PM EST

Sometimes it’s best to let the oddsmakers do the work for us. The Suns are heavy moneyline favorites against the Wizards, and the points spread sits at a whopping -7.5. Both teams feature unimpressive sub-.500 records, but the Wizards will be without star guard Bradley Beal, and I doubt they’ll be able to overcome his absence. FiveThirtyEight gives the Suns a 72 percent chance to win, so the Suns are a fantastic play at +500.

Philadelphia 76ers (-230) at Indiana Pacers
Saturday, August 1st at 7:00 PM EST

While the oddsmakers prefer the Suns to the Sixers, FiveThirtyEight expects Joel Embiid’s squad to win in a much more dominant fashion. They’re giving the Sixers a 76 percent chance to topple the Pacers, and their point spread sits at 7.5 — two points higher than DraftKings’ point spread of 5.5. The sportsbook’s caution could be due to injury concerns surrounding Embiid, so that’s something to monitor as game time approaches. If he plays, however, the Sixers are another great option at +500.
