Here’s the rundown on this weekend’s promotion. You can access DraftKings if you live in Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

  1. Log into or sign up for DraftKings Sportsbook.
  2. Select “NBA” and then click on the Nuggets/Lakers game.
  3. Place a bet of at least $1 on the game — the offer excludes live bets, parlays, free bets, cash out bets, voided bets, and odds boost.
  4. Regardless of if your bet cashes, you’ll receive the free bet on 8/11.

The Los Angeles Lakers have locked down the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers don’t have much to play for, and I fully expect the Nuggets to have a strong showing in this one. Los Angeles hasn’t won since they beat the Jazz last Monday, and they’ve lost to the Thunder, Rockets, and Pacers since then. In contrast, the Nuggets are 3-1 over that span, with their only loss coming to Damian Lillard and the surging Portland Trail Blazers. You can more than double your money with this line, but if you’re feeling more conservative, take the Nuggets on the point spread (+4) at -109.
