Special Offer: Rookie of the Year Boosters from PointsBet (2019)

As we approach the halfway point of the 2019 NFL Season, the top rookies from April’s draft are starting to rise to the surface. A quarterback seems destined to win the award this season, with the three odds on favorites playing the position according to PointsBet. For those that think the award will go to the Giant’s Daniel Jones (+175) or the Jaguar’s Gardner Minshew (+500), PointsBet is offering an odds boost for either of those two (Jones to +250 & Minshew to +700) to win the award. This offer is only available to customers in New Jersey.

Let’s take a look at Jones and Minshew’s Week 5 matchups.

Minnesota Vikings (-4.5, 43.5 O/U) at New York Giants (1:00 PM EST)
Since Jones fully took over at the helm for the Giants, he has led his team to back to back wins and will be looking to make it three in a row Saturday afternoon at home. A key weapon for the Giants returns as well, as wide receiver Golden Tate makes his season debut following a four-game suspension to start the year. Jones is expected to face the toughest test of his short tenure on Sunday, as the Giants welcome in the Minnesota Vikings. After opening at -4, the Vikings have seen some money come in as the line has reached as high as five in some spots. It is holding steady at -4.5, however, over at PointsBet as kickoff approaches.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3, 41 O/U) at Carolina Panthers (1:00 PM EST)

Gardner “Uncle Rico” Minshew will look to make it three straight wins on Sunday as he and his Jaguars head north to take on conference foe Carolina. Like the Jaguars, the Panthers are without their starting quarterback and have relied heavily on their running game and defense to get to where they presently sit at .500. Minshew and the Jags are drawing most of the action this week, originally opening as 3.5-point underdogs before moving to where they currently sit at three.
