Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves

The Astros will go for the sweep Sunday when they take on the Braves in a 2021 World Series rematch. Houston will turn to Cristian Javier while Atlanta counters with Max Fried in this interleague clash scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET from Truist Park in Atlanta, GA. 

Javier comes into the series finales at 2-0 with a 3.68 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over four starts this year. Most recently, the right-hander threw 5.0 innings against the Blue Jays and limited them to just one earned run on three hits and two walks. He struck out five batters in the winning effort. As for the head-to-head matchups with the Braves, they're slashing just .208/.240/.521 against him over 48 at-bats. That includes the trio of Ronald Acuna Jr., Austin Riley, and Matt Olson sitting at a combined 2-26 (.077).

Fried, on the other hand, has also found success against the Astros, where they're hitting just .182 over 22 at-bats with no extra-base hits. The southpaw has been excellent in two starts this year, sitting at 1-0 with a 1.08 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. Look for this game to be scoreless after the first frame.

NBA Playoffs Best Bets

Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks

Game 4 at Madison Square Garden will be an electric atmosphere as the Knicks look to take a 3-1 lead over Cleveland. One large edge the Knicks have had all season in this matchup is on the boards. This advantage has led New York to a 5-2 lead over Cleveland for the year. I like this game to follow a similar script.

Much like during the regular season, in the game Cleveland won in this series, they were on fire from beyond the arc, going 14-for-33 for 42%, well above their average. The Knicks have proven to be a tough matchup for this young Cavaliers team, as they need outlier shooting performances to get consistent scoring. The strong defensive shooting metrics from the Knicks have made Cleveland's life difficult all year.

The Knicks should be able to contain the Cavaliers and prevent another incredible shooting night. If they're able to do that, their defense and rebounding are more than enough for them to pull off another strong win and take a 3-1 lead in the series. Covering the spread in this matchup is one of my favorite bets of the day.

NHL Playoffs Best Bets

Boston Bruins (-152) at Florida Panthers (+126) | O/U 6.5 (+100/-122)

How would the Bruins respond to being blown out in The Garden? By getting hot in South Beach. Boston dominated early in the contest and did well at passing around the puck, which allowed them optimal opportunities to score. While Florida did well at crashing the crease, Ullmark showed why he's the clear Vezina Trophy winner.

After giving up three goals, Panthers' goalie Alex Lyon was pulled in favor of Sergei Bobrovsky, who stopped 8-of-9, breathing some life into the Panthers as they scored twice to cut the lead in half. No word yet on who it will be between the pipes when the puck drops, but we could see a switch.

The Bruins to win straight up does have much value, but one bet that I also like is the under.
