Tafon Nchukwi vs. A.J. Dobson
Tafon Nchukwi is a big man, especially in the middleweight division. He is taking on A.J. Dobson, a well-rounded fighter on a two-fight losing skid since entering the UFC. Nchukwi is also on a two-fight losing streak, both via knockout. Dobson is not known for his power, so Nchukwi should be fine in this one. He is not a slouch on the feet, but he would rather be on top after getting a takedown. Dobson averages 1.75 takedowns landed per three rounds and has two submission victories in his nine professional fights. He may have trouble getting Nchukwi to the mat, though. Nchukwi is moving back down to middleweight from light heavyweight and will be the bigger man in the cage on Saturday. He is not tall but is thick and imposing. Dobson will have trouble with his strength in the octagon. Nchukwi could knock him out or coast to a unanimous decision in his return to middleweight.
