Sunday's Best Elite Eight Player Props Bets: Tennessee vs. Houston
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
J’Wan Roberts Under 10.5 Points (-125)
In March, J’Wan Roberts has had a game with 18 points and a game with only two points. He’s been all over the place. However, ultimately, he’s added no more than six points in four of his last six games.
Roberts has shot only 42.3% from the field over his last 10 games. He’s also not a three-point threat at all and has added about two free throws made per game. The Houston forward will take on a Tennessee defense ranked 17th in points allowed to forwards this season. The Volunteers also rank 20th in field goal attempts to forwards this season.
Roberts won’t shoot with much volume. He’s also not scoring at a high rate and likely will struggle just as much against Tennessee.
Chaz Lanier Under 4.5 Rebounds (-170)
Chaz Lanier has added four rebounds in two consecutive games. He’s hit at least five rebounds in only 27% of games this season. He’s also added at least five rebounds in just one of his last five games and two of his last 10 games.
Lanier is in line to face a Houston defense ranked seventh in the country in rebounds allowed to guards this season. The Cougars are also 24th in limiting offensive rebounds against guards this season.
After all, Lanier has added just three offensive rebounds in his last 10 games. He’s also earned fewer than four defensive rebounds per game. The opportunities won’t be there in a slow-paced showdown against Houston.
