TGL Golf Picks & Predictions: Best Bets for Tuesday (3/18)
The TGL Playoffs roll into the second Semifinal match on Tuesday night when the 3-seed Atlanta Drive GC take on the 2-seed Bay Golf Club at SoFi Center. A trip to the TGL Finals Series is at stake, with the winner of Tuesday’s Semifinal advancing to face the 4-seed New York Golf Club following their 6-4 upset win over Los Angeles Golf Club on Monday night.
The Atlanta Drive have looked great all season, going 4-1 in five regular season matches. Tonight’s lineup features Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel, and Patrick Cantlay. The Bay Golf Club will roster Shane Lowry, Min Woo Lee and Ludvig Aberg. Bay Golf Club also went 4-1 during the regular season, losing its first match 5-3 against Los Angeles Golf Club during the regular season finale on March 3rd.
I’ve got three TGL best bets to place, each worth one-unit, ahead of tonight’s Semifinal match between the Atlanta Drive GC and Bay Golf Club. During Monday’s Semifinal, my TGL best bets went 2-1, cashing the outright winner on New York as a -105 underdog, along with Xander Schauffele beating Collin Morikawa in their Two Hole Singles matchup prop at +150. Let’s keep it rolling into Tuesday’s Semifinal match between the Atlanta Drive GC and Bay Golf Club. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for additional weekly TGL and PGA Tour analysis and free bets.

Winning Team
I’m once again on the underdog in tonight’s TGL Semifinal match, backing the Atlanta Drive GC to win outright on the moneyline at -110 odds. Atlanta’s season has been very successful, although their only loss did come against Bay Golf Club back on February 17th.
Bay Golf Club built an early 3-0 lead during triples, entering the Singles with a 4-3 lead. Wyndham Clark came through for Bay Golf Club, winning both of his holes against Patrick Cantlay, which proved to be just enough to come away with a 6-5 win in regulation. Justin Thomas scored two points for Atlanta by draining a 7 foot birdie putt after throwing a hammer to increase the value of the 12th hole.
Cantlay, Thomas, and Horschel are a very talented tandem to bet against in tonight’s TGL Semifinal. They’ll be motivated to get revenge against Bay Golf Club, just like we saw New York play against Los Angeles during Monday’s Semifinal win. Min Woo Lee has made some big-time chips and putts for Bay Golf Club thus far but without Clark in the lineup tonight, I’m giving the edge to Atlanta as as a small underdog at -110 odds.
Pick: Atlanta Drive Golf Club (-110)
Leader After 6 Holes
This is the first time I’m tackling the Leader After 6 Holes market for TGL. This means we’ll have two full cycles during Triples play, with every golfer getting a chance to tee-off, hit approach, and showcase their short game twice.
Atlanta is leading off with Thomas against Lowry, then Horschel against Lee, concluding with Cantlay versus Aberg. Horschel’s been struggling the most on the PGA Tour recently but he’s played well in TGL this season. Thomas is a precision specialist and Cantlay is fantastic with his putting. Aberg can bomb it tee-to-green, while Lowry is the most accurate golfer for Bay Golf Club.
Lee is the X-factor in this handicap. He can be dialed in or pedestrian, which will make it interesting to see who winds up playing better between him and Horschel. The first time these teams met, Bay Golf Club built a 3-2 lead through the first six holes. I think it flips tonight.
Oddsmakers are assigning +125 to both teams to have the lead after 6 holes during tonight’s TGL Semifinal, with “Tie” available to bet at +450 odds. Let’s double down on the Atlanta Drive to get off to a strong start and hold a lead after the first six holes at plus odds.
Pick: Atlanta Drive GC (+125)
Pick: Patrick Cantlay (+170)
