Brooks Koepka
Odds: +1000

Is it possible that Koepka could actually continue his dominance at major tournaments with an outright win at this year’s PGA Championship? Koepka came close to securing a third consecutive major tournament victory when he was the runner-up at The Masters last month. Now he enters this event coming off another top-five finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson in which he led the field in distance of putts converted. If his putting is on point, he’s going to be near or at the top of the leaderboard.

Jon Rahm
Odds: +1800

Rahm is squarely in the second tier of golfers on the board, but he is worth considering for a number of reasons. First of all, the Spaniard is coming off top-10 finishes in each of his last two major starts. Second, Rahm currently ranks second on the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Off-the-tee. The 24-year-old has rested and prepared for the PGA Championship since winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in late April. Add it all up and he might be worth the investment at 18/1.

Francesco Molinari
Odds: +2500

If you are looking down the list for an excellent value pick for this year’s PGA Championship, Molinari certainly fits the bill. While he’s coming off a disappointing finish at The Masters (he had an excellent shot to win it outright), Molinari still finished a career-best fifth at Augusta National. He’s finished sixth or better in four of his last six majors, including the win at The Open last season.

Taking a look at this year’s results, the Italian has produced top-20 results in five of his last six starts in major tournaments and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He should be in contention this week.

Ian Poulter
Odds: +8000

From the long-shot category, Poulter is a very intriguing option at +8000 odds. He registered a T-12th at The Masters last month and has produced eight previous top-10 results at major tournament events. While he’s been criticized for his ball striking ability, it’s worth pointing out that Poulter ranks 10th in ball striking on the PGA Tour this year. He’s yet to miss a cut at any event and is coming off four consecutive top-20 finishes.

If you think it’s a bit aggressive to bet him to win it all, a top-10 prop might be worth a look.
