The Best NFL Player Prop Bets Worth Investing In Right Now

As we move into the OTA part of the offseason, DraftKings Sportsbook has posted a slew of player props focusing on some of the biggest brand names who changed teams in the offseason. Let’s take a closer look at four of them and make some predictions on each.

Odell Beckham Jr. Total Receiving Yards
Odds: 1100.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook

In his first three NFL seasons, Beckham never finished with fewer than 1,305 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. However, he is coming off back-to-back years in which he struggled to stay healthy on some bad New York Giants teams and he maxed out at 1,052 yards in 12 games played last season. The fact that he stilled topped 1,000 yards in an injury-riddled season with an anemic offense is a good sign for the over here.

The Browns are suddenly loaded with offensive talent and if Beckham is healthy, 1,100 receiving yards should be considered his floor.

Pick: Over

Antonio Brown Total Receiving Yards
Odds: 1200.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook

While Beckham Jr. is younger than Brown, the latter is still in his prime. He is coming off another monster year in which he finished with 104 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Steelers. While there might be a bit of an adjustment period early on, the Raiders should score in bunches this season as their defense is bad. On top of that, Brown is as motivated as he’s ever been throughout his career, so look for Brown to challenge for 1,500 receiving yards in his first year with Oakland and shatter his projected futures total.

Pick: Over

Le’Veon Bell Total Rushing Yards
Odds: 1032.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Only nine different NFL running backs ran for more than 1,032 rushing yards last season. Now Bell, who turned 27 years old in February and has had some trouble staying healthy throughout his career, is expected to step right in after a full year off. Bell rushed for over 1,200 yards in three of his last four seasons (that he’s played). However, he is coming off an entire year off and will have to produce from within a much more limited offense in New York.

There’s also the issue with Adam Gase as it looks like the head coach didn’t want to invest in a back while the now-fired General Manager signed him anyway. That will set up an interesting dynamic. I would go under.

Pick: Under

Antonio Brown vs. Juju Smith-Schuster Receiving Yards

The final player prop that we recommend jumping on now is Brown to finish with more receiving yards than his former Steelers’ teammate Smith-Schuster. Schuster, who is coming off a breakout season with 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns, is expected to take over as the No. 1 option in Pittsburgh following Brown’s departure. However, he is bound to face much tougher options as the Steelers’ biggest threat on offense, and there is no guarantee he will be able to match last year’s production without Brown forcing opposing defenses to respect him. Meanwhile, Brown is motivated to prove that Pittsburgh made the wrong choice by not investing more in him, and he should get plenty of touches in Oakland. The smart money is on the veteran Brown winning the head-to-head matchup for more receiving yards than Smith-Schuster this upcoming NFL season.

Pick: Brown
