College Football Conference Championships Odds, Picks & Predictions: Toledo vs. Ohio
Despite losing their last two games of the season to limp into this one, the Toledo Rockets find themselves in the MAC Championship game for the first time since 2017. The Rockets have gotten largely on the back of one of the better defenses in the MAC, specifically their secondary, which comes into this game allowing just 187.3 passing yards per game.
For the Ohio Bobcats, the loss of their starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke was thought by many to surely derail their season, but that hasn’t been the case. Finishing the regular season 14th in the country with 295.5 passing yards per game, CJ Harris has given this offense an even better dynamic; a running game.
In Ohio’s regular-season finale, Harris rushed for three touchdowns in their 38-14 win over Bowling Green, marking the fourth straight week this offense put up 30+ points.
In one of my favorite plays of the week, I like for the Bobcats to roll in this one.
