Top 2 NBA Player Prop Bets for Thursday, April 28 (2022)

Here’s a look at our favorite prop bets for today’s NBA Playoff games.

Joel Embiid UNDER 42.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists (-104)

I still remember playing this prop at 50.5 in Game 1 of this series. Fair to say it went well, but I still didn’t expect to play it at a number like this. First of all and most importantly Embiid is hurt. A torn ligament in the right thumb may not sound very scary, but it’s clearly bothering him, especially as it is on the shooting hand. He isn’t nearly as aggressive as he was in the regular season, in which he averaged 19.4 FGA and 11.7 FTA per game. In the two games since the injury these numbers are down to 15.5 FGA and 7.5 FTA which won’t be enough for a huge scoring game. He covered this PRA line only once in this series, averaging only 39 in that span.

Luka Doncic 25+ / Mavs ML  (+115)

Am i the only one who can see a big gap in quality between these two teams? I played Dallas in every game of this series and lost money only on Game 1 when they didn’t cover by 1 point. Remember that Mavericks were up 2-1 in this series without by far the best player, who for me is on the verge of being top 5 player in the NBA. I’m adding the points, just because I wanted to give you a plus money winner. Luka can easily go for 35 to 4o if the Jazz can keep it close. Which I’m not so sure they can. Luka is averaging 33.3 ppg in his playoff career, so 25  won’t be a problem. Dallas is a deeper, all-around better, way better defensively, and well-coached team. I expect them to close this one out and make a deep playoff run to surprise a lot of people.
