Darius Garland OVER 2.5 3PTM +1o5
Garland shined during All-Star Weekend and even raised the level after that. He has averaged 26 points and 8.0 assists per game since the break. I looked at both lines, but in the end, I decided to go with the 3’s. He is averaging 2.6 for the season and has covered in seven of his last 10 with two games with five 3PTM and two more with four 3PTM. Averaging seven attempts for the season and eight in the last game is enough for me, keeping in mind that Pacers are 24th in 3PT% allowed. At + odds, I must take it, and I would actually sprinkle on the ladder up to 5 at +700 or even 6 at +1500.
Kyrie Irving OVER 23.5 POINTS -110
Kyrie was on fire before struggling in the last game vs. Celtics. That wasn’t surprising at all because the home crowd was booing him all game, and he was obviously frustrated. He has played only 16 games this season but has covered in 10 of them and is averaging 24.7 points per game and 26.1 in the L10. He covered in all four games before Boston, averaging 31.3 ppg. Hornets are awful defensively, but KD will need some help, and they actually really need this one. I also like Durant to cover, but Kyrie is the safer option for me.
