Top 2 NBA Player Prop Odds & Bets for Sunday, May 1 (2022)
Here's a look at our favorite prop bets for today's NBA Playoff games.
Jayson Tatum OVER 12.5 Rebounds & Assists (-125)
We’re starting off with maybe the most interesting series in round 2 of the 2022 NBA playoffs. Boston will play at home against the defending champ Milwaukee Bucks. I expect an even closer game than the bookies, as their spread is now at 4.5. Boston is an all-around good and well-coached team. But if you need to pick a leader of this group, certainly it will be Jayson Tatum. He averaged 30-7-5 in the first-round sweep over the Brooklyn Nets. His RA line is at 12.5 and a little bit juicy but looks worth it. He is 12.4 for the season and had 12, 9, and 13 in the 3 games he played against Milwaukee. But he averages 40 minutes per game in the postseason and with that amount of minutes his numbers are way up: 13.9 RA for the season and 13.5 in L10. The Bucks are 1st in PF defense and I won’t be surprised if they keep him under his points prop. But Boston will still need a solid all-around game from JT and their opponent is 15th in rebounds allowed and 25th in assists allowed.
Draymond Green OVER 6.5 ASSISTS (-135)
Playable at 7.5, but this line is below his average, which isn’t factoring in the increased minutes in the playoffs. He was on the floor 35 minutes per game against Denver and for the season Green covered in 79% of the games he played more than 33 minutes this season. 13, 3, 9, 10, 7, and 9 in L6 against Grizzlies. This should be a fast-paced game compared to the Denver series. With Curry, Klay, and Poole you don’t need to do something spectacular to make a bunch of dimes. Also, there will be no Joker to gain all of his attention. Yes, he will still be the key factor in the Warriors’ defense, but he will be able to facilitate more.
