Tuesday’s Best College Basketball Picks

Last Week: 1-4 (20.0%, -335) | Season: 24-17 (58.5%, +547) | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All picks are for 1 unit

Ohio Bobcats (-400) at Eastern Michigan Eagles (+310) | O/U 151.5 (-115/-105)

The Bobcats (10-7, 4-1 MAC) hit the road for the Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan to battle the Eagles (8-9, 2-3). Thankfully, Eastern Michigan doesn’t have a ridiculous gray floor like its football team has gray artificial turf.

Ohio suffered its first conference loss at Akron last time out on Friday, 92-80. That halted a six-game win streak, although the Bobcats are just 2-3 against the spread (ATS) in the past five outings, and 4-11 ATS overall on the season.

Eastern Michigan picked up a 68-62 win at Bowling Green on Saturday, slapping the brakes on a three-game skid. In their most recent home game, the Eagles suffered a 105-81 loss against Akron, so both sides have had a tough time with the Zips lately. Eastern Michigan is 2-4 ATS in the past six games and 3-7 ATS across the past 10 outings, so neither team is particularly hot against the number lately.

In this series, Ohio has won six of the past seven in the series, while going 5-2 ATS in the span, while posting a 7-3 ATS mark across the previous 10 outings. The over has cashed in each of the past two meetings while going 4-1 in the previous five encounters.

Ohio has hit the over in four in a row, going for 80+ points each game, while allowing at least 70 points in each of those outings. Eastern Michigan has hit the over in three of their past four games and they have allowed 76+ points in eight of their past 10 contests. The over is 6-2 in the past eight games for the Eagles, too. There is no real lean one way or the other on the line, but the over is a strong play.

Picks: Over 151.5 Points (-115)

St. Joseph’s Hawks (-122) at Davidson Wildcats (+102) | O/U 148.5 (-110/-110)

The Hawks (11-7, 2-3 A-10) and the Wildcats (12-6, 2-3) square off in a conference tilt at John M. Belk Arena in Davidson, North Carolina. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. ET. It can be viewed or streamed on ESPN+.

St. Joseph’s has dropped three of its past four games, including a 78-69 loss on Friday night to VCU at home, which I was glad to be on the right side of. The Hawks have struggled against the number lately, covering just once in the past six games. The over has cashed in three in a row, too.

For the Wildcats, they were on the short end of a wild 92-90 loss at Rhode Island on Saturday. The over also easily cashed in that game. Davidson is 3-1 in their past four outings, scoring 74+ points in each game and six of their past seven. The defense has coughed up 85.5 points per game (PPG) in the past two contests.

Davidson has dominated this series, winning four of the past five meetings, although St. Joe’s won 89-71 in an A-10 tourney game last March. St. Joseph’s is 6-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past seven meetings, however, with the over going 6-1 in the span. Davidson has won five straight meetings at home since February 15, 2019. The Wildcats are catching a point and a half at home but just roll with the Moneyline instead.

In addition, let’s go with the over in this battle. The Hawks have cashed high in six of the past nine games, while the Wildcats have hit high at a 4-2 clip in the past six.

Picks: Davidson Moneyline (+102) & Over 148.5 Points (-110)

UT Martin Skyhawks (+112) at Tennessee State Tigers (-138) | O/U 148.5 (-108/-116)

The Skyhawks (9-10, 5-3 OVC) and Tigers (7-12, 3-5 OVC) tangle at Gentry Center in Nashville on Tuesday. The game can be viewed on ESPN+ at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Tennessee-Martin has pieced together two straight wins while picking up victories in four of the past five. The only setback during the streak since January 4th was an 82-81 loss at Lindenwood as a 1-point favorite. The over has connected in three of the past four, as the UT Martin offense has been humming with 81+ points in three of the past four. Defensively, Martin has allowed 82+ points in three of the past four outings.

For the Tigers, they pounded Eastern Illinois 84-65 as a 5-point favorite as the over (142.5) cashed. Tennessee State has alternated wins and losses in each of the past six games since flipping the calendar from 2024 to 2025. The same holds true on covers, with TSU posting a 3-3 ATS mark with alternating covers in the span.

In this series, we’ve had a ton of points, with the winning team going for at least 88 points in each of the past three meetings, with the losing side posting at least 82 twice. It’s been three straight track meets and easy over results between these OVC rivals. Let’s go for another and back the Skyhawks to get the job done outright.

Picks: UT-Martin Moneyline (+112) & Over 148.5 Points (-108)
