After rolling at a 46-percent clip over the previous seven-day period, the last week of games has seen significant course correction. Road dogs are a miserable 22-42 SU over the previous seven days, a 34.4-percent success rate that offers little room for long-term profit for those willing to take risks for bigger payouts.

NY Yankees -1.5 (+114)
It might be difficult to accept that a rookie making just his third major-league start is on the right side of a pitching mismatch, but that’s the case Wednesday as Yankees righty Deivi Garcia faces the hard-hitting Toronto Blue Jays. Garcia has a phenomenal minor-league pedigree and has been outstanding in two MLB appearances. Toronto counterpart Tanner Roark, on the flip side, has a 6.32 FIP and 2.3 HR against per nine innings. I like New York a lot.
NY Mets Over 5 Runs (-124)
It’s a Big Apple double! I can’t ignore how great the Mets offense has looked over the past week, even coming off Tuesday’s 11-2 drubbing at the hands of the Baltimore Orioles. New York has scored eight or more runs in four its past seven games and owns the league’s top slugging percentage over that span (.563). And while Jorge Lopez has been serviceable in 2020, he boasted a 2.0 HR/9 rate last year. The Mets might very well tee off in this one.
LA Angels-Texas Over 9.5 (-112)
You know those games that feature so many runs that you spend three solid minutes perusing the box score just to see how many players put up ridiculous stat lines? Welcome to Wednesday’s game between an Angels team sending Julio Teheran (7.94 ERA, 10.3 H/9, 2.8 HR/9) to the hill against Texas rookie Kyle Cody, who has just 7 1/3 major-league innings under his belt.
