In 23 innings pitched against right-handed batters this year, Logue owns a 1.48 WHIP. Detroit has a couple of lefty mashers atop their lineup in Javier Baez and Miguel Cabrera. Baez has a .409 ISO and wBA of .398 in his last 23 plate appearances against lefties. Meanwhile, Cabrera has a .388 wOBA against lefties in his previous 25 plate appearances.
Bet: Tigers vs. Athletics Game 1 YRFI (+116 FanDuel)
We’ll balance the plus-money play with a bit of a safer bet on Thursday in Rangers vs. Marlins. The game is in Miami, and Pablo Lopez has been solid overall once again this season. The same can be said for Rangers starter Jon Gray, who has struck out 30.3% of batters faced in the last 30 days while earning a 3.19 xFIP.

We’re getting a bit of a discount here given the unknown starter for the Yankees in Game 1 of today’s double-header against the Astros. Houston will send Cristian Javier to the mound to start the second half. He’s sporting over a 35% strikeout rate to go with a 2.54 ERA. It’s rumored that Jameson Taillon or Jordan Montgomery will start for New York. This is a value given the likely starters, so jump in while you can.
