Another winning day is in the books on Friday with a 2-1 day ATS, as we now move to 55% on the season as the halfway point approaches. We now turn our attention to Monday, as we look to keep our good run going with a busy Monday night slate on the professional hardwood.

Let’s take a closer look.

Bucks (-11) vs. Pistons

Sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, the Pistons are in a complete rebuild and have the record to show for it this season. Through 48 games, they come into tonight having won just 12, and in their last 10 have now covered just seven. Offensive woes continue to be the main issue, scoring just 112 points per game up to this point to rank 25th in the league.

The task will get tougher against Milwaukee this evening, which comes in a top-10 team on defense across the board. They’ll also come in ticked off, having lost 102-114 to Cleveland on Saturday in a game they never got into a rhythm offensively.

Look for the Bucks to roll in this one.

Bet: Bucks -11 (-110)

Magic (+8) vs. Celtics

While they also are in the midst of a rebuild, the Magic come into this matchup tonight vs. the Celtics back in the friendly confines of Orlando, where they’ve had some success this season. Coming into tonight, the Magic are 14-9 ATS at home, and I think we get them at a discount in this one.

Following a slow start to the season, the Celtics have stormed up the standings to start the New Year, winning nine straight games following a January 3rd loss. Things have been getting closer, however, as they’ve now failed to cover in back-to-back games, winning both by a combined five points.

4-1 ATS in their own last five, I like for the Magic to have enough to keep this one close tonight at home.

Bet: Magic +8 (-110)

Spurs (+8.5) vs. Trail Blazers

Despite the Trail Blazers definitely punching above their weight to start the year, this is too many points to be giving to a Spurs team still fighting every night. It’s been a year to forget for Coach Pop, with no real talent to work with, as the Spurs find themselves four games out of the worst spot in the Western Conference.

Even still, this is a team that fights almost every game, as evidenced by now covering seven of their last nine games. They do it again here.

Bet: Spurs +8.5 (-110)
