Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (2/1)

The Hawks couldn’t hold off a late surge by the Trail Blazers on Monday, giving us our first losing day in a week, going 1-2 ATS. Even still, I’m optimistic heading into the rest of the week as we look to bounce back on a busy Wednesday slate.

Let’s take a closer look.

Wizards (-6) vs. Pistons

We’ve been riding the Wizards train the past week, and I’m not about to get off now. Coming into this one, the Wiz have now won six straight, covering all of them, as they surge close to firmly being in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

In their way on Wednesday is the Pistons, who are heading in the opposite direction, losing six of their past seven, going 2-5 ATS. They’ve been especially bad at home this season, going just 6-19 and 9-14-1 ATS.

Wiz roll again in this one.

Bet: Wizards -6 (-110)

Celtics (-8.5) vs. Nets

With KD out to start the year, it’s safe to say that the Nets have been overachieving. Coming into this game, the Nets have now won four of their past five, going 5-1 ATS over that span behind an offense that has been on fire.

They have, however, largely avoided any top-tier teams, beating up on the likes of the Lakers and Knicks while dropping many of their tougher road games. Now they head to Boston.

Red hot to start the year, the Celtics have slid a bit, losing three of their last four. They need to get back on track and fast, as the home stretch of the season is around the corner. Largely healthy coming into this one, I think the Celtics get the win and cover at home.

Bet: Celtics -8.5 (-110)

Suns (-1.5) vs. Hawks

Just when they were starting to roll, the Hawks have again begun to slide as January came to an end. Coming into Wednesday, the Hawks have now lost four of their past five (2-3 ATS), including some bad ones to Portland and the Clippers, where they gave up more than 120 points in each.

For the Suns, a rough start to the year has turned into now having won five of six, as they start to get healthy once again. With Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton now firmly back in the lineup, the Suns should roll in this one.

Bet: Suns -1.5 (-110)
