1. Bucks -5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
A big reason for the Bucks turnaround this season after a slow start, including winning their past eight straight, have been the MVP-like performances of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Averaging 27.6 points per game, including 40 last night, Antetokounmpo leads the surging Bucks straight back to the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
Their opponent in this one, the Raptors, are still reeling from a 2020 season that saw them play their home games in Tampa, FL, and some of their biggest stars depart for greener (and warmer) pastures. Having lost four of their last five games, going 1-4 ATS over that run, I like for the Raptors to fall again in this one.
2. Knicks +2 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Knicks draw the Bulls tonight at MSG in their third meeting of the season and second in 10 days. For the home Knickerbockers, the replacement of Kemba Walker with Alec Burks at the point guard position has been a welcomed one, as Burks has turned in consecutive season-high performances.
In this one, I like for Burks to turn in another big performance, this time in his first start at home since being named the starting PG.
3. Trail Blazers -3.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
One of the best home teams in the NBA, the Trail Blazers enter tonight with a record of 10-1 in Portland and a staggering 8-2-1 ATS. Hovering around the .500 mark for the past couple of weeks, the Trail Blazers need to get moving in what will surely be a crowded Western Conference playoff race.
In this one, I like for them to take advantage of a young Spurs team that is one of the more unrecognizable units in the Greg Popovich era.
