Top 3 NBA Betting Picks for Thursday, June 10th (2021)

There is nothing quite like the NBA Playoffs. The Phoenix Suns continue to impress and look all but destined to make the Western Conference Finals. Chris Paul and Devin Booker are too much for the Denver Nuggets to handle due to a lack of depth and injuries. Thursday night gives us two more exciting semifinals matchups. First, we will have the championship favorite Brooklyn Nets looking to go up a 3-0 against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Then, the night’s action will close with Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers trying to go up 2-0 on the Utah Jazz.

1. Nets +3.5 | -109 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Brooklyn has been the far superior team in this series. Milwaukee gets the love as the home favorites and have actually moved from -3 to -3.5. If Milwaukee is going to make this a series, they are going to have to find a way to pull out a victory on their home court tonight, and the betting public (and Vegas) knows it. If they lose, their will to win and belief may be all but gone. Milwaukee cannot seem to solve Kevin Durant and will need both Giannis and Khris Middleton to have big games in order for the Bucks to have a chance. However, stopping KD and Kyrie Irving is the real problem. The Bucks may not get swept, and that’s the reason for them being favorites tonight, but there is no doubt about who has the better team and who will be winning this series. Take the superior team and the plus points to the bank.

2. Blake Griffin Over 10.5 Points | -109 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Blake Griffin had a throwback performance in Game 1 of this series, dropping 18 points and hauling in 14 rebounds. He came back to earth in Game 2’s blowout but spent almost 10 minutes less on the floor. With the game expected to be more competitive tonight, Blake Griffin should easily clear the 11 points needed for this prop to click. James Harden will be sidelined for at least one more game, which should provide Griffin with both the minutes and touches to make another sizable impact. Tap him for one to two units.

 3. Kawhi Leonard Over 27.5 Points | -113 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Kawhi Leonard has scored 28 or more points in five of his last seven contests and is averaging 31 points per game during the postseason. Kawhi has been stepping up his game in the playoffs every year since he became a superstar, and this season is no different. With Paul George struggling with inconsistency once again, Los Angeles will need ‘The Klaw’ to score 30 or more points to ensure a victory over the Utah Jazz. And Kawhi knows it. There is some degree of risk here as he managed ‘just’ 23 points in the series opener, but trends and recent playoff performances suggest a big game from Kawhi. Tap the over for one unit.
