1. Magic +6 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Bradley Beal is likely out again for this one after entering COVID protocols last night for the second time this season. On the second of a back-to-back, the Wizards now draw a Magic team in desperate search of a win for the second time in three games.
Having now lost nine straight, the Magic have sunk to the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings but not for a lack of effort. Having covered three of their last five including Sunday vs. the Wizards, look for Orlando to keep it close late.
2. Lakers ML | -155 at DraftKings Sportsbook
De’Aaron Fox missed a go-ahead shot Monday vs. the Cavaliers to seal a five-game slide for the Kings who now welcome to town a surging Lakers team. Winners of four of their last five, the Lakers have once again ridden the coattails of LeBron James who has had to engage earlier than usual this season with Anthony Davis missing extended time due to a knee injury.
Having won one of their last four games in Sacramento by an average of 21 points, the Lakers should get it done again in this one despite what will no doubt be a desperate team in the Kings.
3. Nets-Bulls Under 232.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Here’s a total that has been on the run since it opened at 229 in the early hours of this morning, and I think it’s finally reached its tipping point. Getting as high as 233.5 in some locations, I’m grabbing the 232.5 for a game I think we see a concerted defensive effort from both teams.
In front of what should be a playoff-like crowd in Chicago, look for both teams to clamp down on the defensive fronts after recent poor performances. With both teams in the top 10 in the league in points per game allowed, expect regression in this one.
