Top 4 NBA Player Prop Bets for Friday (1/21)

The NBA season is in full swing, and we’re starting to see the league get healthier as a whole, as it feels like players are coming back daily as we come closer to the All-Star Break. Here are my favorite player prop spots for today!

Joel Embiid 30+ Points -138

Joel Embiid has forced his way into the NBA MVP discussion, and for good reason. Over his last FIFTEEN games, he averages 33.1 points and 10.1 rebounds on 55% shooting and 38% from three. All from a 7-footer! He is the clear number one option for Philly, and he helped carry his team from down ten at half last game to win by twenty, with a fifty-point showing! Look for this consistency to continue and Embiid to keep that fire brewing.

OG Anunoby OVER 4.5 Rebounds +110

The Raptors are happy to have their team back at full strength, and budding OG Anunoby has been playing at a really high level all around. With Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam, and Chris Boucher, there are some big bodies on the court, but none that truly dominate the glass. OG has had eight rebounds in two of the last three games, and I think this is a fantastic matchup for all of the Raptors to clean up the glass and for OG to get between six and eight rebounds here once again.

Demar Derozan UNDER 0.5 Threes -135

Demar Derozan has been a hybrid power forward for the undermanned Bulls right now, and this is a good matchup for him to stay in the mid-range and snipe on the Bucks. They don’t really have anyone that can guard him, and while he is elite from the mid-range, I think he can also draw a ton of fouls this evening. He has attempted just one three in his last six games, and he missed it, and he hit one three last year against the Bucks in two games, where he didn’t even attempt one. Look for him to get his 20-24 shot attempts all inside the arc.

Duncan Robinson 4+ threes +166

On the other hand, we have an extremely high volume three-point shooter in the form of Duncan Robinson in for Miami, who is up against an Atlanta team who is last in the league at guarding the corner three and is bottom five in guarding the three in general. He hadn’t been needed much when they played twice last week, but with Miami winning both and now being without Herro and Lowry, it will be up to Duncan Robinson to light it up from deep in his extended minutes. He has two games in the last three weeks with eight threes made and four with at least eight attempts. Look for him to light up an Atlanta team in shambles.
