Pablo Sanchez: o/u 5.5 Strikeouts
Pablo Sanchez averages 5.25 Ks per start, which aligns with his K prop today. I like his matchup against the Rangers as they are one of the least disciplined teams at the plate, carrying the highest swing and miss rate in the league at 13.2%.

Zach Logue: o/u 4.5 Hits
Zach Logue goes for the Oakland A’s in game one of their double-header. While Detroit hasn’t been anything special, they do hit lefties better than half the league. They have the third-best batting average (.269) and BABIP (.338) in the entire league. Logue has started six games for the A’s and has given up five or more hits in five of those starts.

Alex Bregman: o/u 1.5 Total Bases
Alex Bregman is one of the rare cases where a right-handed batter struggles against lefties. The Astros’ third baseman is hitting .238 with 11 HRs and 46 RBI, but his production drops considerably when a lefty is on the mound. Against lefties, his average drops to .179, and he only has one HR and six RBI. Not to mention Bregman is 1-for-7 with two strikeouts against Yankees’ Jordan Montgomery.

Javier Baez: o/u 1.5 Total Bases (Game 1)
Baez has a rough first season with the Tigers, batting .213 with nine home runs and 35 RBI, all of which rank outside the top 100 in MLB. The good news for Baez is he tends to shine against left-handed pitching. His average jumps up to .338 against lefties compared to .174 against righties. His OPS also increases to .934 against lefties compared to .532 against righties.

Joc Pederson: o/u 0.5 HR
Joc Pederson smashes against right-handed pitchers, having 15 of his 17 home runs coming against them, and his ISO jumps from .212 against LHP to .274 against RHP.
