Joel Embiid 30+ Points/76ers Win +160 via FanDuel

Happy Birthday, Joel! (Not relevant to the play, just it is indeed his 28th birthday) With Jarett Allen still sidelined, it would be foolish to think Doc Rivers wouldn’t gameplan around taking advantage of a now mismatch inside. The Cameroonian center has averaged 29.9 points per game this season and has hit his stride again in his last four games. Over this span, Embiid has averaged 34.8 points and has had 30 or more in three of his last four games. Look for him to approach 40 again with the number of fouls he will draw inside without Allen.

Klay Thompson OVER 3.5 Threes +115 via DraftKings

Klay Thompson is finally off of his minutes limit, and it seemed like the last bit of rust came off against Milwaukee. He has hit 12 threes on 26 attempts in the last two games, while playing just over 33 minutes in both games. The Warriors won both games by double digits as well. Look for these two disciplined teams to try and attack from all levels, and Klay’s three-point presence to be the difference once again for the boys of the bay.

Nikola Jokic OVER 39.5 Points + Rebounds -110 via FanDuel

Nikola Jokic is a monster, and while he has a multi-faceted game, he has been focusing on scoring and cleaning the glass of late. He is averaging 29.9 points and 13.7 rebounds per game over the last seven games and faces a Wizards team with no real defensive or glass-cleaning presence that scares me to stop him from doing his thing, and he may score in the mid-30s to make this an easier hit! All in all, expect both top MVP candidate centers to do their thing once again tonight.

RJ Barrett UNDER 25.5 Points -110 via DraftKings

This is a good spot to take the under on RJ Barrett, as I expect the Knicks to cruise in blowout fashion. However, factoring that in or not, he has scored 26 or more points in just one of his last six games and is shooting just 38.6% from the field. Maybe he is tired from the increased minutes he is playing, or maybe it is just a rough patch, but either way I think that he will focus on winning the game and try and be a decoy here in a game that the Knicks can legitimately win by thirty points. I think he has star potential in this league, but tonight expect RJ Barrett to take a back seat to Randle and the bigs.

Dejounte Murray OVER 42.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists -105 via DraftKings

The Spurs All-Star Point Guard has been playing sensational lately, and part of it is that he has increased his shots from inside the arc and has been more aggressive in going directly to the tin, drawing fouls and also setting up his passing game, which is also elite. Over the last eight games, Murray has averaged 26.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game, which adds up to a total of 44.8. I think that his performance on January 19th against this same Thunder team is something to gauge as a possibility, as he had a triple-double, netting 23 points, ten rebounds and 14 assists. Back Murray at home with confidence!
