Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All bets are for 1 unit

    Los Angeles Angels (+128) at Texas Rangers (-152) | O/U 7.5 (-120/-102

The Angels (36-56) meet the Rangers (46-45) in the second of a three-game series at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

Texas routed L.A. 8-3 in Tuesday’s series opener as a moderate favorite (-166), as the over (seven) cashed. Justin Foscue came on as a pinch-hitter and finished 2-for-2 with a homer, two runs scored and two RBI. Alejandro Osuna belted a homer, walked, scored two runs and drove in three. Nicky Lopez chipped in with a two-out RBI single, too.

The Halos are in freefall, dropping seven in a row since June 29th, and the over is 3-0 in the past three games. They have allowed 7.7 runs per game over that span, with at least seven runs allowed in each outing. The over is 5-2 in the past seven games, too.

The Rangers have pieced things together in recent weeks, going 8-3 in their past 11 games since June 25th, while the over is 4-1 in their past five outings.

We get a matchup of Angels rookie righty Walbert Urena (5-7, 3.03 ERA, 1.31 WHIP) against Rangers lefty MacKenzie Gore (5-7, 4.31 ERA, 1.27 WHIP). Urena is just 1-5 on the road in six starts and eight appearances, but he does have a sparkling 2.91 ERA and 1.44 WHIP.

Urena’s win-loss record is a product of a lack of run support. The Angels are just 8-17 versus lefties this season, so expect the hard luck to continue for Urena, as the Angels struggle to make inroads against Gore.

    Picks: Rangers Moneyline (-152) & Over 7.5 Runs (-120)

    Arizona Diamondbacks (+120) at San Diego Padres (-142) | O/U 8.5 (-104/-118

The Diamondbacks (45-46) and Padres (45-46) meet at Petco Park in San Diego at 10:10 p.m. ET in the third installment of a four-game set.

Arizona won the series opener 8-0, while San Diego posted a 4-1 victory on Tuesday, as the under cashed for a second consecutive game. The Padres are still 7-2 in the past nine meetings in this series, although the underdog is 3-1 in the past four meetings. The under is 3-1 in that span, too.

The Diamondbacks have managed a 2-4 mark in the past six games and are 4-7 in the past 11 outings. The under has connected in four consecutive outings.

The Padres have won two of their past three outings after an ugly eight-game skid from June 27th to July 4th. The under is on a 5-0 run, as the offense has pieced together just 12 total runs (2.4 per game).

Arizona goes with righty Jose Cabrera (0-1, 4.73 ERA, 1.58 WHIP) for his fourth start of the season, while San Diego rolls with righty Michael King (5-7, 3.52 ERA, 1.16 WHIP). At home, King has a 3.28 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. While King has been faltering lately, he is still a better option than Cabrera, but look for both offenses to continue to struggle.

    Picks: Padres Moneyline (-142) & Under 8.5 Runs (-118)

    Colorado Rockies (+198) at Los Angeles Dodgers (-240) | O/U 10 (-102/-120

The Rockies (38-55) stunned the Dodgers (60-33) in the second game of the series on Tuesday night. These teams meet at 10:10 p.m. ET for the rubber game at Dodger Stadium.

Colorado won 4-3 as a heavy underdog (+250) on Tuesday, and it covered the run line as a big underdog on Monday night in a wild 8-7 loss, as the over (9.5) connected. Tuesday’s victory halted the Dodgers’ five-game winning streak in the series. The under and over have alternated in each of the past six games of the series.

Rockies righty Gabriel Hughes makes his first career start and just the second MLB appearance of his career. The Alaska-born reliever picked up a traditional save with three scoreless innings, finishing the 15-3 win against the San Francisco Giants on July 3rd.

The Dodgers counter with righty Roki Sasaki (3-5, 5.40 ERA, 1.40 WHIP), who hasn’t won in six starts since May 23rd in Milwaukee. He completed June with a 0-2 record and 5.57 ERA in four starts. Sasaki allowed six runs and seven hits, including three homers, over three innings in a 12-7 win over the Padres last time out on Thursday.

We’re doing it again. Let’s roll with the Rockies to nearly double up, as Sasaki has been horrific lately. It’s a wonder the Dodgers haven’t pulled the plug on him yet. Let’s go over on the game total and the team total for the Rockies.

Picks: Rockies Moneyline (+198), Over 10 Runs (-120) & Rockies Team Total Over 3.5 Runs (-138)
