Louisville vs. Maryland: Pick Louisville +1.5

(Tip 10 a.m. ET)

In their last game, Louisville looked really strong with a 72-58 win over Mississippi State. Leading by 28 points at one point in the game, the Cardinals out-rebounded the Bulldogs by nine. A tough Cardinal defense held Mississippi State to just 33.3% shooting from the field and just 1-for-15 behind the three-point line. The Cardinals are getting great play from guard Noah Locke, who has scored at least 12 points in four of five games this season, and fifth-year big man Malik Williams ranks third in the ACC in rebounding and 17th in the nation in defensive boards.

Maryland had to make a comeback in their last game against Richmond as they trailed for most of this game and were able to pull off the six-point win. They haven’t had an easy win since the opening game against Quinnipiac as they’ve narrowly beat Hofstra and lost by five to George Mason.

Louisville has the better playmakers in this game and should be able to break off on Maryland often, especially with the help of their dynamic outside shooting.

Oklahoma vs. UCF: Pick UCF -.2.5

(Tip 2 p.m. ET)

The Knights are looking like the team to beat in the AAC as this veteran team brought back all five starters and their top nine scorers. What’s been the key for UCF is the style of tempo they play on offense and the defense they play. They’re 29th in average possession length this season (15.4 seconds) and 356th in average possession length allowed (20.0). They’ve had a ton of success by are attacking quickly and forcing long, grueling possessions on the defensive end.

The Sooners sit at a 4-1 record, but they haven’t been lighting it up. They are currently 2-4 ATS and lost straight up to the only KenPom top-150 team they’ve faced in No. 66 Utah State.

The Knights are just going to be able to control this game like they have all season as the Sooners have yet to prove they hold down any real competition.

Miami (OH) vs. Western Illinois: Pick Western Illinois +3.5

(Tip 3 p.m. ET)

Miami has played well to start the season has been playing very offensively, as they rank 15th in 2-point percentage and 17th in field goal percentage. Junior guard Dae Dae Grant has been lighting it up so far as he is shooting 50% and has at least 15 points in each game this year.

Western Kentucky sits at 4-2, but they have looked really good at home with two wins while scoring over 90 points. They have done well with playing a high-tempo offense along with playing tough in the paint and out-rebounding their opponent.

The RedHawks come into this game undefeated, but they haven’t beaten any of the notes so far. Their last games were against non-ranked opponents outside Division I, and the two games prior to that were against Lamar and Stetson — two teams that rank outside the top 200 in Division I. The Leathernecks have been a very dangerous team at home, and they keep this one close.
