Top College Basketball Picks Monday, January 11th (2021)
Hello and welcome to my first article of the New Year! With 2020 in the books, it is officially a year with March Madness, and that is cause to celebrate. I had a solid 2020 college basketball betting record, so here’s to hoping for a solid 2021 as well. While there aren’t a plethora of outstanding games today, there are still some hidden gems that could absolutely have implications come March. Here are my favorite betting picks for today.

Colorado at Utah: 6:00 PM EST
While I was a big proponent of Utah pre-season, the Buffaloes have simply performed better. Both teams have an okay defense, but Colorado’s offense is simply way better. McKinley Wright and Evan Battey make up a dynamic duo that leads the 19th ranked offense in the nation. Colorado is consistent from the charity stripe, actually ranking first in the nation, so they won’t choke away this game away. They can score from anywhere on the floor, and I simply don’t think that the Utes can keep up. Utah has struggled of late, coming off three straight losses while Colorado has had more rest recently. This should be a fun game, but I expect Colorado to win and cover.
Boise State at Wyoming: 9:00 PM EST
With the mismatch between Boise State’s offense and Wyoming’s defense, I can fully see a blowout by the Broncos. Wyoming not only will struggle to keep up offensively with Boise State, but their offense won’t excel either. Boise State is better on the boards and effective FG%. The Broncos are a legitimate team to watch out for in the Mountain West. Their sole loss is against a solid Houston team but beyond that, they’re riding a 10-game winning streak. I will take the momentum and better team here with a Boise state cover.
