Top MLB Player Prop Odds & Picks for Saturday, April 23 (2022)
Due to a rainout in the Rockies vs. Tigers game on Friday, we're set for a 16-game schedule in Major League Baseball today! We have three games starting around 1:05 ET and action runs all day, concluding with the Royals taking on the Mariners at 9:10 ET. Here are three player props that I'll be locking in, so I have some skin in the game on this stacked Saturday of baseball.

Jose Abreu O/U 1.5 Total Bases
The Twins took game one of their three-game set with the White Sox last night. The White Sox have now lost five straight games, but they'll look to get back in the win column by sending Vince Velasquez to toe the rubber. The Twins will counter with Dylan Bundy, who's looking to move to 3-0 on the young season.
Dylan Bundy has been off to a tremendous start in 2022, posting an ERA of 0.87 and 0.68 WHIP. He has made two starts this season, with the Twins coming out victorious in both of them. Most recently, the right-hander threw 5.1 innings against the Red Sox and limited them to one earned run on five hits and no walks.
Jose Abreu hasn't gotten off to the start he hoped for in 2022. The right-handed slugger is batting just .205 with a home run and four RBIs over 12 games. However, Abreu has faced Bundy in 16 at-bats, and he has seven hits, including a home run and a double. Even if Bundy has another quality outing and limits Abreu, there's still an opportunity later in the game as the Twins boast the 26th ranked bullpen in terms of ERA (4.34). I like Abreu to record at least two total bases this afternoon.

Nick Castellanos O/U 0.5 Total Bases
The Phillies won game one of the weekend series with the Brewers in a 4-2 fashion. Game two is set for 4:05 ET this afternoon, with Adrian Houser throwing for Milwaukee while Philadelphia turns to Zack Wheeler.
Adrian Houser is 0-2 in two starts to begin the season, however, he's allowed just three runs over 9.1 innings in his starts. Most recently, it was a 5.2 inning performance, where he was taxed for a single run on four hits and three walks.
Nick Castellanos has been swinging it well since joining the Phillies at the beginning of the season. The star outfielder is slashing .321/.390/.566 over 53 at-bats in 14 games. He's collected five hits over his last two games, including a home run. Castellanos has faced Houser in 21 at-bats in his career, and he's gone 7-21 with two doubles and a long ball. With Nick being at the top of the order, I like for him to have plenty of opportunities to record at least one total base tonight.

Corey Seager O/U 1.5 Total Bases
Game two of this A.L. West showdown between the Rangers and A's gets underway tonight at 4:07 ET from the Oakland Coliseum. Texas won last night's contest 8-1, and they'll look to keep it rolling as they send Martin Perez to the mound. Frankie Montas goes for the A's, who are 3-2 over their last five games.
Right-handed Montas is 2-1 to start the season over three starts, where he's posted a 3.63 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. Most recently, Montas limited the Orioles to a single run over 6.0 innings of work and struck out five.
Corey Seager is batting .275 in his career with the Rangers. He's hit one home run so far this year and driven in eight RBIs. The whole Texas lineup has found success against Montas, slashing .426/.489/.793 over 41 at-bats. As for Seager, he's 3-3 against the righty with a double. There's a good chance that we see some high-scoring affairs in Oakland this weekend, and I like for Seager to play a role in producing some of that offense. Give me the over on his total bases tonight.
