Top NBA Betting Picks for Monday, April 26

The NBA playoffs are quickly approaching, and we’ve got an absolutely loaded 11-game slate on tap this evening. The red-hot Knicks and Wizards will look to continue their winning ways in the Eastern Conference, while the Lakers will look to turn things around after a three-game skid.

Here are the top NBA betting plays for Monday, April 26, provided by BettingPros experts James Bisson and Isaiah Sirois (Main game odds courtesy BettingPros Consensus; lock and prop odds sites may vary):

Betting Lock of the Day

Sirois: Spurs -4 (-112 at FD Sportsbook)
The Spurs have gone 19-8 ATS on the road — the best such record in the NBA — and they’ll need to keep that streak alive if they want to stay in the playoff hunt. Unfortunately, San Antonio boasts a top-10 defense, and that spells problems for Washington’s fast-paced, inefficient offense. Also, Washington is quite banged-up — Bradley Beal is dealing with a calf injury (although he cleared the injury report), Russell Westbrook is questionable with an ankle ailment, and Robin Lopez is also questionable with an ankle issue. Sure, the Wizards are on an eight-game winning streak — I just don’t buy that they’ll cover against such a good road squad.

Top Game Prop of the Day

Sirois: Magic Under 98.5 (-102 at FD Sportsbook)
It’s always aggressive to play a team’s under when it’s below triple-digits. So what? The juice just screams value, and Los Angeles’ road defense has been incredible this season. The Lakers have played 30 road games to date, and the full-game unders have hit in 20 of those matchups (33.3%) — the lowest rate in the NBA. The Magic no longer have the offensive firepower required to clear this threshold against a team like the Lakers. Also, these teams met after the trade deadline on Mar. 28, and the Magic ended up scoring only 93 points. Expect their offensive struggles to continue.

Top Player Prop of the Day

Sirois: Rudy Gobert Over 30.5 Points and Rebounds (-115 at FD Sportsbook)
The Minnesota Timberwolves give up the most points per game to centers (25.2). They may allow the 11th-fewest rebounds to the position (14.4), but Gobert sailed over that margin in his prior two matchups against Minnesota. He recorded 18 points and 17 rebounds in their first meeting back in December (35), and he posted nine points and 17 rebounds in their second last Saturday (26). With the Jazz still missing Donovan Mitchell, look for Gobert to bounce back from his disappointing performance earlier in the week and sail over this total.
