Friday night blessed us with some unbelievable performances from Joel Embiid and Jamal Murray. While we may not see history made during tonight’s five game slate, we have some exciting matchups that includes an NBA Finals rematch between the Miami Heat and the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers. If that were not enough, we will get a treat of a battle between two of the most potent guards in the NBA in Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard. Let’s dig in.

Betting Lock of the Day

Byfield: Suns -6.5 (-115 at FD Sportsbook)
The Phoenix Suns have been rolling, winning eight of their last 10 and turning a 10-8 record into an 18-10 record. They have been hit with a rather large spread for a road contest, but if they keep clicking as they have been over the last couple of weeks, they should be able to clear a double-digit victory. Memphis has won two games in a row and did beat Phoenix earlier this season, but that is when the Suns were still finding their way with Chris Paul. Tap the Suns for one unit.

Top Team Prop of the Day

Byfield: Bulls 1st Quarter over 29.5 points (-110 at FD Sportsbook)
The Chicago Bulls will be taking on the Sacramento Kings tonight and should be able to exploit their bottom five first quarter scoring defense to hit the over on this team prop. Chicago is in the top half of the league with 28.5 first quarter points per game and will be facing a team relinquishing an average of 30.5 per opening stanza. The juice here reflects the type of coin flip proposition this is based on stats alone, but with very little backcourt defense to stop the Zach LaVine and the Bulls, only a putrid shooting quarter should prevent a hit.

Top Player Prop of the Day

Byfield: Chris Paul over 8.5 assists (-110 at FD Sportsbook)
Chris Paul is becoming more and more comfortable with his Phoenix Suns teammates, culminating with a season-high 19 assist performance against the New Orleans Pelicans yesterday. He has hit nine or more assists in three of his last four contests and should approach double digits against the Memphis Grizzlies. Tap CP3 for one unit.
