Top NBA Betting Picks for Sunday, April 11

Let’s give a big shout-out to Enes Kanter for recording a whopping 30 rebounds against the Pistons last night. He is now tied for the 12th-most single-game rebounds of all time; only one active player (Kevin Love) has ever recorded more (31).

Here are the top NBA betting plays for Sunday, April 11, provided by BettingPros experts Raju Byfield and Isaiah Sirois (Main game odds courtesy BettingPros Consensus; lock and prop odds sites may vary):

Betting Lock of the Day

Sirois: Bulls -4 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)
I have taken the Bulls the last three times they’ve played, and they are 2-1 ATS through that span. They nearly went 3-0, too, before the Hawks launched a massive second-half comeback on Friday night. But the logic behind this play remains the same — sportsbooks continue to underrate the Bulls in away games, as they boast an 18-7 ATS record when they play outside of Chicago. That’s the best such record in the NBA! Nikola Vucevic and Daniel Theis should exploit Minnesota’s vulnerable interior defense tonight, and they should do more than enough damage to cover by a four-point margin.

Top Team Prop of the Day

Sirois: Trail Blazers First Quarter +0.5 (-115 at FD Sportsbook)
The Trail Blazers are tied for the most first-quarter points scored (31.2). In contrast, the Heat score the fifth-fewest. That said, Miami’s first-quarter defense is far better than Portland’s, as the Blazers give up the fifth-most points per frame (29.7), and the Heat give up the eighth-fewest (27.6).
When these teams last played on Mar. 25, Portland won the first quarter by a seven-point margin. I suspect that they’ll get out to a similarly hot start tonight, especially with the somewhat banged-up state of Miami’s roster.

Top Player Prop of the Day

Sirois: Nikola Vucevic Over 23.5 Points (-116 at FD Sportsbook)
The T’Wolves give up the most points per game to opposing centers (25.3). The Bulls aren’t much better, as they give up the second-most (24.8), so it’s a great night to take the over on player props for Vucevic and Towns. Vucevic has gone over this total in just three of his seven starts for Chicago, but he has steadily seen more run since his arrival. He has gone over in two of his last four, and his average over that span (25.3) points and the matchup point to value here.
