With a blizzard wrecking the American east coast yesterday and into last night, it’s a great time to stay indoors and watch basketball. If you’re looking to get some skin in the game, our experts have put together their best bets for tonight’s slate.

Here are the top NBA betting plays for Tuesday, February 2, provided by BettingPros experts James Bisson, Isaiah Sirois, and Vaughn Dalzell (Main game odds courtesy BettingPros Consensus; lock and prop odds sites may vary):

Betting Locks of the Day

Sirois: Trail Blazers +2.5 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)

Yes, the Washington Wizards just earned a high-profile win over the Brooklyn Nets. No, that doesn’t mean that they’re much better than their 4-12 record suggests. They rank 12th-best in offensive efficiency and third-worst in defensive efficiency; meanwhile, Portland ranks sixth in offensive efficiency and second-worst in defensive efficiency. We should see a lot of scoring tonight, so I’ll take the more effective offense plus the points.

Dalzell: Celtics and Warriors Over 226 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)

No Marcus Smart and James Wiseman leave a void defensively for both teams. The Warriors have scored well over the last three games at home, posting totals of 118, 123, and 130 points. The Celtics’ lone game without Smart resulted in a 126-114 finish. I like the odds of both teams hitting 110-plus points in this matchup.

Best Team Props of the Day

Sirois: Trail Blazers Over 119.5 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)

The Blazers have surpassed this total in two of their last four games. They should have no problem clearing it tonight, as the Wizards play at the league’s fastest pace with the third least efficient defense. My efficiency-based model projects Portland for a squeeze over this total tonight, and as a result, I’m rolling with them as my team prop lock.

Dalzell: Nets Under 120.5 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)

This game total is probably a little bit too high, and if there is one team that will go under 120 points in this matchup, it’s probably the Nets. Los Angeles is playing far better defense and is clearly the better team right now, as they’ve won 10 of their last 11 games. The Clippers are defensively sound across the lineup, and they have the better bench depth, too. Coming off 146 points last night, Brooklyn should focus on defense rather than offense.

Best Player Props of the Day

Sirois: Serge Ibaka Over 6.5 Rebounds (-168 at FD Sportsbook)

Ibaka averages 6.7 boards per game, and the Nets give up the seventh-most rebounds to opposing centers. In fact, they give up .33 rebounds per minute to the position, so if Zubac hits his average of 25 minutes per game, he should get around 8.25 rebounds. My prop model absolutely loves this line, and you won’t have to deal with too much juice to buy it.

Dalzell: Jaylen Brown Over 5.5 Rebounds (-110 at FD Sportsbook)

Jaylen Brown averages 5.4 boards on the season and 4.7 defensively on the road. Luckily for him, Wiseman being out for the Warriors opens up more chances for rebounds, and Golden State doesn’t fare well versus forwards. The Warriors allow the most rebounds per game to small forwards (13.02) and the 13th-most to power forwards (7.67).
