Top NBA Betting Picks for Tuesday, March 30

Russell Westbrook asserted himself with a 35-point, 21-assist, 14-rebound triple-double against the Pacers last night. While it’s yet to be seen if Washington opts to rest their superstar for tonight’s game against the Hornets, they’ll need to win every game they can if they want to make the playoffs out of the Eastern Conference.

Here are the top NBA betting plays for Tuesday, March 30, provided by BettingPros experts Raju Byfield and Isaiah Sirois (Main game odds courtesy BettingPros Consensus; lock and prop odds sites may vary):

Betting Lock of the Day

Sirois: 76ers +5 (-110 at FD Sportsbook)
The Nuggets are five-point favorites over the Sixers, but I think that spread underestimates Philadelphia. They have won all but two of their games since Joel Embiid got hurt, and half of those six victories came by double-digit margins. The 76ers last played on Saturday, giving them a rest advantage over the Nuggets. They’re 5-1-1 ATS in such situations on the year, and they have also gone 4-0-1 ATS with 2-3 days of rest. In contrast, the Nuggets have gone just 5-8 ATS with a rest disadvantage, and they’re an unimpressive 9-13 ATS at home. My efficiency-based model favors the Nuggets by just a 2.2-point margin, which points to a healthy chunk of value on the 76ers.

Top Team Prop of the Day

Sirois: Wizards Over 112.5 (-115 at FD Sportsbook)
Am I chasing the points by taking the Wizards tonight? I don’t think so. Sure, Russell Westbrook just cashed in for an absurd 35 points and 21 assists against the Pacers last night. I suspect that Washington may get Bradley Beal back tonight, and they should maintain that offensive momentum instead of regressing. It helps that the full-game totals have gone over in 65.2% of Charlotte’s away games and in 66.7% of Washington’s home games. These teams both rank in the top-half for pace, too. The Wizards have averaged 114.8 points per game since the All-Star Break.

Top Player Prop of the Day

Sirois: Kevin Huerter Under 10.5 Points (-104 at FD Sportsbook)
I do not understand why this total has been set this high. Huerter hasn’t surpassed it in any of his last six outings. His minutes have nosedived as the Hawks have gotten healthier, and he came off the bench in their last two games. Although Bogdan Bogdanovic has already been ruled out tonight, the Hawks could have both Lou Williams and De’Andre Hunter back for this one. Their availability would limit any boost Huerter would’ve gotten from Bogdanovic’s absence. Also, the Suns surrender the second-fewest points per game to shooting guards. Their air-tight defense should keep Huerter under 11 points for seven-straight games.
