Friday’s Best NBA Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Milwaukee Bucks at Oklahoma City Thunder (-14) | O/U 223 (-110/-110)

The Bucks have the second seed in the Eastern Conference, but they could drop to third depending on how the next two games go. They don’t seem concerned about where they end up, and that is why Giannis is out until the playoffs, and most of their starters are listed as game-time decisions.

OKC sits with the third seed, but No. 1 is still in play. Luguentz Dort is the only player listed on the injury report, so it looks like it’s a full go for them, and they’ll be trying to get that top spot.

Both defenses have been great the last two games, including the Thunder, which has an 89.8 defensive rating. The Thunder could grab a large lead and rest their players, given the Bucks’ lack of depth.

Pick: Under 223 Total Points (-110)

Phoenix Suns (-5.5) at Sacramento Kings | O/U 225 (-110/-110)

There is a lot at stake over the next two games for the Suns. They are sitting in seventh but could move up and get a guaranteed playoff spot. Phoenix does not want to take a chance and have to play in a double-elimination situation.

The Kings have regressed after last year’s amazing breakthrough. They will not win the Pacific and will have to participate in the Play-In Tournament. This is still an important game for them; they are currently eighth but have the same record as the Lakers and Warriors. They do not want to fall into the single-elimination part of the Play-In.

While the Suns should grab an important win, five points is a little much for both teams in a must-win situation.

Pick: Kings +5.5 (-110)

Denver Nuggets (-11) at San Antonio Spurs | O/U 224 (-110/-110)

Some would argue that Nikola Jokic should be set to win his fourth straight MVP. He’s been carrying this team on his back during this three-game winning streak, averaging 29.3 points and ten rebounds, as the defending champs control their destiny to be the top seed in the West.

The Spurs’ last matchup against the Nuggets was cinematic; Wembanyama scored 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Jokic scored 42 and 16. San Antonio played well, and it was tied with 33 seconds to go.

We could another fantastic finish as the Spurs have looked great overall, especially at home.

Pick: Spurs +11  (-110)
