Saturday’s Best NBA Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All wagers are for 1 unit

Orlando Magic (-300) @ Detroit Pistons (+245) | O/U 224.5 (-110/-110)

The Magic (31-25) make the second stop on a three-game road trip against the Pistons (8-47). Orlando has won four in a row in the series while posting covers in each of the past three contests. That includes Feb. 4, which was a 111-99 win as a 6.5-point favorite at Little Caesars Arena. Orlando also won the first meeting at home on Dec. 8, blasting the Pistons 123-91 as a 10.5-point favorite.

The Pistons had been showing some signs of life, going 6-1 ATS in a seven-game span from Jan. 28-Feb. 10 and a 12-2 ATS run from Jan. 12-Feb. 10. However, they are skidding again, dropping four in a row, while failing to cover the past three outings. Look for another non-cover as the Magic come through with another win and cover in the series.

Bet: Magic -7 (-112)

Boston Celtics (-270) @ New York Knicks (+220) | O/U 224 (-110/-110)

The Celtics (44-12) will face the Knicks (34-22) on ABC in what could be the game of the night. Boston has won seven in a row since a 114-105 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 1 while going 15-3 SU in the past 18 outings.

The Knicks picked up a 110-96 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road Thursday, snapping a four-game losing streak. New York also halted an 0-6 ATS skid with the cover as 1.5-point underdogs.

Boston has won three in a row in this series, including a 108-104 win to push at most shops as a 4-point favorite in the first meeting this season on Oct. 25. Back the C’s, who are much hotter lately and in the series. The Knicks have a starting five right now consisting of Precious Achiuwa, Donte DiVincenzo and Isaiah Hartenstein due to several injuries. That’s not going to cut the mustard against a championship contender.

Bets: Celtics -7 (-110)

Brooklyn Nets (+275) @ Minnesota Timberwolves (-340) | O/U 217 (-110/-110)

The Nets (21-34) hit the road for the Twin Cities to face the Timberwolves (39-17). Minnesota has won three of the past four games in this series, including a 96-94 win in Brooklyn on Jan. 25 in the first meeting this season. The Timberwolves are 7-3 ATS in the past 10 meetings in this series, too.

Brooklyn has dropped three in a row and six of the past seven games, and they’re just 1-5-1 ATS in the seven-game span. The offense has really struggled lately, going for 89.5 PPG in the past two games while allowing 128.5 PPG. That’s not good.

Minnesota has posted a 4-1 SU/ATS mark across the past five games, with a lone loss to Milwaukee last time out. The T-Wolves haven’t had back-to-back non-covers since Jan. 25-27. Take the Wolves, and don’t look back.

Bets: Timberwolves -8.5 (-108)
