Top NBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (3/30)

There are three games on the National Basketball Association (NBA) slate for Saturday. Apparently, the league doesn’t want to go up against the Elite Eight for ratings. If you want to get your NBA fix you can watch the Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans on NBA TV at 5 p.m. ET and the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s Best NBA Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All wagers are for 1 unit

Boston Celtics (-210) at New Orleans Pelicans (+176) | O/U 223 (-110/-110)

The Celtics (57-16) battle the Pelicans (45-28) at Smoothie King Arena in the Big Easy on Saturday afternoon. After a nine-game win streak from March 9-23, while going 8-1 against the spread (ATS), the Celtics had a difficult time against the Hawks. Boston is coming off back-to-back losses and non-covers in Atlanta.

The Pelicans are coming off a 107-100 win against the Bucks last time out as a 2-point underdog as the under (226) cashed. That’s three wins in the past four games for the Pelicans, although New Orleans is just 2-3 ATS in the past five games. The under is 3-1 in the past four games, too, while cashing at a 13-4 clip across the past 17 outings.

For the Celtics, the over is on a five-game run and 7-1 in the past eight outings. Boston has scored 117 or more points in 11 straight games, while allowing at least 113 points in each of the past three. It’s a good idea to go with the over and back the Pelicans catching the points.

Bet: Pelicans +5 (-110) & Over 223 Total Points (-110)

Memphis Grizzlies (+570) at Orlando Magic (-820) | O/U 206.5 (-112/-108)

The Grizzlies (24-49) travel to meet the Magic (42-31). While a lot of the streak has to do with Ja Morant, who is out for the season, Memphis has won five straight in this series, while covering four in a row.

However, this is a different Magic team than those past few seasons, even though the Grizzlies did top the Magic on Jan. 26 as a 6-point underdog in a 107-106 win as the over (212) cashed.

Memphis has dropped six of the past seven games while failing to cover three of the past four outings. The over is on a 6-1 run in the past seven contests, too.

For Orlando, it has dropped three in a row, while also failing to cover in each setback. All are against Western Conference teams at home, too, although each of those opponents is likely playoff bound, or at least in contention for a postseason spot. Memphis isn’t in that same class and Orlando should get back on track with a solid win on its home hardwood. However, take Memphis catching double-digit points. While the over looks good, as far as Memphis is concerned, the under is 6-1 in the past seven games for the boys from O-Town.

Bets: Grizzlies +12.5 (-108)

Milwaukee Bucks (-198) at Atlanta Hawks (+166) | O/U 225 (-110/-110)

The Bucks (46-27) travel to meet the suddenly red-hot Hawks (34-39) in Hotlanta.

Milwaukee suffered a 107-100 loss as a 2-point favorite in New Orleans on Thursday as the under (226) connected. The Bucks have dropped three of the past five games while going just 1-3 ATS in the previous four contests.

The Hawks have won and covered four in a row, scoring at least 120 points in each outing. Two of the victories were against the Boston Celtics. Atlanta has seen the total go high in six in a row, allowing at least 118 points in four of their past six outings.

Atlanta has held its own in this series, winning three of the past five meetings outright since Nov. 7, 2022, while holding a slight 3-2 ATS edge in those outings. The over/under has split 5-5 in the past 10 meetings. Lean Hawks and the points, avoid the total.

Bets: Hawks +4.5 (-108)
