Jimmy Butler OVER 25.5 Points | -105 at DraftKings
A line you will never touch during the regular season. Or my bad, you will probably go all-in on the under. But playoff Jimmy Butler is a real thing, and once again he proves that his bubble run wasn’t a one-off. He is averaging 29 ppg this postseason, but here is the interesting thing. He is either a big hit or a big miss. Butler has had 33, 36, 40 and 45-point performances, but hasn’t been between 23 and 32 points — not once. And I believe this will be a high-scoring game for him and I will ladder him up to 40.
After two very disappointing nights in Philly, I expect Miami to bounce back and take a 3-2 lead in this series. Butler is a big-game player and this will be the biggest game for Miami so far this year. Kyle Lowry is out and this will mean even more usage for Jimmy.
He will need some help and his teammates should hit more perimeter shots. That’s why I’m very intrigued by some Duncan Robinson props. After Miami went 14-for-65 from deep in the last two games, I believe Spoelstra will bring the sniper Robinson back to the rotation, maybe even the starting lineup. But anyway — come closing time, all eyes and hopes will be on Jimmy Buckets, and I believe he will deliver.
