The New York Jets just fired their defensive coordinator after his play-call allowed Derek Carr to throw a game-winning touchdown. The Jets will have to adjust to their new coordinator before a big game against the Seattle Seahawks, who score the fourth-most points per game (29.4). They are two-score favorites against the spread, and they are going to score a touchdown and win — it’s just a question of how many. They’re also big moneyline favorites (-833 at BetMGM), and you should feel safe about betting on this line. Simply put your money down on this low-risk option and enjoy your free bets at BetMGM Sportsbook!

FanDuel has been running a fantastic special offer for parlay bettors over the last few weeks. If you place a same-game parlay with at least three legs, but only one of those legs loses, you’ll get your money back in site credit! If you’re new to parlay betting, you can check out our introduction to them here. In short, you’re betting on multiple lines within the same bet.

This week, I’m targeting the Saints and Eagles game. We’ll see Jalen Hurts make his first start for Philadelphia, and while I like him as a player, this matchup is quite bleak. The Eagles’ offensive line ranks 32nd in adjusted sack rate, which is bad, while the Saints’ defensive line ranks first. Woof. Jalen Hurts already took three sacks when relieving Carson Wentz last week, and it’s not going to be a pretty game in Philadelphia this week. Expect the Saints to take the lead in the first quarter and never look back. The Eagles should score some garbage-time points, but not enough for a backdoor cover.

Saints (-6.5): -114
Saints First Quarter ML: -125
Home (Eagles) Total Points, Second Half (o7.5): -108
Total Odds: +670

You can read FanDuel’s fine print here. It’s important to note that only parlays with odds of +200 or longer are eligible.

FOX Bet

Who: New users only.

The folks at FOX Bet have put together a few special offers for bettors in specific markets, so I’ll break your options down by each state. Since you’ll only be eligible to bet on one of these teams, I’ll identify my favorite picks in the states with multiple options.

Colorado:
Broncos to score a point (DEN at CAR).

New Jersey:
Eagles to score a point (NO at PHI)
Giants to score a point (ARI at NYG)
Jets to score a point (NYJ at SEA) — The Jets are bad, but Seattle’s defense is too.

Pennsylvania
Eagles to score a point (NO at PHI)
Steelers
to score a point (PIT at BUF) — the Steelers aren’t making a quarterback change. They’re the only safe option.

PointsBet Sportsbook

Offer: Bet $25 on someone to score the first touchdown in PIT/BUF, win $10 for each touchdown they score.

Bettors can win some bonus money if the player that they select to score the first touchdown finds the end zone multiple times! You’ll receive $10 in free bets for each score through PointsBet’s Make It Rain promotion.

The sportsbook hasn’t posted lines for the promotion yet, but I think this line comes down to the teams’ two leading touchdown scorers: Josh Allen (six rushing touchdowns) and Chase Claypool (eight receiving and two rushing touchdowns). The Steelers are yet to surrender a rushing score to a quarterback this season, while the Bills have given up 11 receiving touchdowns to wideouts. I think that Claypool has to be your pick here, especially since Diontae Johnson is likely to draw Tre’Davious White in coverage. He has a legitimate shot to score first and then add on another touchdown later in the game.

William Hill Sportsbook

Offer: Bet $50+ on the Miami/UNC full-game spread, earn free bets based on your team’s defensive stats.

William Hill’s Defense Dollars promotion rewards users for selecting a team against the spread that puts up impressive defensive numbers. Here’s how it breaks down (all rewards are paid in free bets):

Sack: $1
Fumble Recovery: $2
Interception: $3
Defensive TD: $7
Safety: $10

This week, William Hill has chosen the game between the Miami Hurricanes and the North Carolina Tar Heels for the promotion. It’s a close matchup on paper — both teams have surrendered 2.9 sacks per game, and UNC averages 3.0 sacks per game to Miami’s 2.9. That said, Miami has an advantage in the turnover department, as they get 1.8 per game to North Carolina’s 1.0. They’re also the only one of the two units to have scored a defensive touchdown.

The Hurricanes are field-goal favorites over the Tar Heels. If you’re confident that Miami will cover, they should be a good team to target for this promotion.
